He'd get more damage doing (crouching) 6K, air throw. That's what people did for the generator danger zone in the demo.

*shrug* Perhaps. All I meant with that post was that you don't need ridiculously intricate inputs or huge command lists to make a good fighting game. It doesn't make the game any deeper, just makes things more frustrating for newer players to pick up. And a big movelist is a red herring anyway...

I don't know how that reviewer could even stand to look at Smash Bros. Not only does it only have two attack buttons, but every character only even has twelve attacks TOTAL! And they all have the same inputs! Seriously, even with just three face buttons there's more than enough combinations to...

^ They're not much more tricky to do than Ryu's Izuna or Hayate's Nakiryu, I know that. Comes from practicing her a lot in DOAD. She's basically unchanged from what I can tell, move-wise. Properties are quite different though (thank god they fixed the trip stun on her 2H+K, it looked awful)...

If I'm not mistaken, she only has that one 'outfit' (which is to say, not wearing anything), but it's likely that you can still differentiate her using colours, as you can do with other character's costumes.

Why not? There's nothing about her that's outside the normal scope of ability for other characters. She's an outrageously extremely lopsided character (as in strikes-holds-throws-wise), but she's not broken.

Given how Donovan wasn't referenced at all in the hacked Alpha demo lists unlike 152 I don't think he'll be playable even exclusively by CPU.

They brought back the massive refloat from Bass' 6PK. I am most pleased. :D

This actually guard breaks already in DOAD. I wouldn't be too worried about its prospects in 5. :D

You highlight somebody in the lobby and press Y. It should be a request to form a tag team. If the lobby is set to be a tag match then you'll be partnered with them in any later matches until you break up with them by repeating the process.

I'm still rather disappointed with the two guest characters' voice acting. It would've been so much nicer if TN had taken the time to remaster their dialogue and maybe their animations. Nicole didn't have this problem in DOA4. I think somebody somewhere mentioned copyright, though...
