Don't know how her 4P launched on NH then, because Wah went through her command training and did 4P. It never launched on NH. Around 2:24:00 is when he starts doing 4P strings iirc.

during the match when i saw it, it launched maybe it launches on sidestep or w/e

Also if someone with connections could just ask TN for a changelog that'd be great, thanks. I mean Capcom gave everyone plenty of lists before the game even hit consoles

She can. 66KP+K teleported her on block with displayed frame advantage. Bayman could jab out of it though, so some wonky things were happening.
Landing frames weren't calculated towards disadvantage.

sweet revenge during the stream said phase's jab was an i10 to bboy
When i saw ayane's 4p, it didn't say counter hit or whatever it was just blank and the character was launched
When mr. wah didn't attack after rachel's stomp it said +13 for a brief second and i know that's +15
i believe mr. wah said alpha got a 10 frame jab but he was viewing the frame data from alpha attacking when his character was blocking

and that's the information i had and i wrote it, that's all

I was trolling bboy about the 10 frame jab.....lol

Bboy and i always troll each other lol. where did u see alphas jab is 10 as well? I dont remember trolling about that but who knows lol. My stream monster personality came out today lol

When did Momiji's "Izuna" become the least bit relevant? Last time I checked... it sucks.
Nah. It doesn't suck. She gets a CB combo from it with the ceiling AND a wall combo with the ceiling (wall slam & then combo into the ceiling). It's also a guaranteed combo from breakable object. She has a variety of ways that she can use it. Not many know how it is used or how good she is in general. She is a very well-rounded character in all actuality.

It's guaranteed because it's weak. There are a variety of ways to use it, and I think Momiji is definitely a decent character. But that move sucks regardless. lol

67/88/98 damage for neutral hit is not weak lol. 67 on it's own, 88 with a ceiling, 98 with wall then ceiling on neutral hit is very good. Especially considering that it's a launch followed up immediately into a combo you have no choice but to eat. This is a very good combo-able move for this character, this doesn't suck at all.

236P+K is going to be a guarantee hit after breakable objects because you're unable to do anything for i45 frames at fastest stagger escape. 236P+K is i25 frames.

Momiji is an extremely underrated character by most because people online play so dumb founded with her.

Having 5 i12 strikes in neutral with a safe 7K at i12 and a base of 38 damage is definitely not just a decent character. Momiji is basically a Feilong with how well her buttons allow her to occupy and control strike ranges. She's very solid.

I can't say I dislike Helena's nerfs. She not only deserves more, but people really put Alpha up on the ban chopping block instead of her. And for what? Because Alpha can crush anything? Because Alpha can repeatedly hump the floor and follow up with unreactable lows more than once? Oh it must be the guaranteed damage she has.

Don't get me wrong, I like all characters in DOA. But Zack is by far my least favorite character for preventing Helena's suicide. And now we have another character that can do BKO. So fuck her as well. :p

In every thread about buffs/nerfs you're always complaining about how bad your poor little Alpha is and then it's me (or other people) telling you the character is actually pretty good. You do realize that, right?

Anyways I don't see Helena's nerfs as a problem. How often are you gonna hit a 33P on normal anyways? Like said before, 33P was meant to crush. Say you're using her 236PKP string (a safe string), people are either gonna try to throw punish because they don't know it's safe, or they're gonna try to outpoke you. What do you do? You use 33P and win that scenario.

I'm standing by my last statement but would also like to add that there's 2 pages worth of misinformation going on.

I would strongly suggest we all wait until the game is out. At this point, there's really no influencing them since they're doing most of their QA with their internal testers and it's not really worth the time discussing properties of a press built of a game.

I agree with a lot of what you say about Momiji overall... but I still think that Mozuna first off the input should grant more damage alone, it's decent in certain situations, but second, she clearly has strings that do a lot more damage.
