Sooo...what did you guys think about the Duscae Demo? o . O I bought a demo code, because Type-0 doesn't interest me very much, but FFXV very much so. Have been playing it for several hours now. It really got a lot of content and I'm still not finished. It's fun...but does look a little rough...:/ Still, here are some random pics (you know, I love taking pics XD):

From the little I've played of Duscae so far it is very interesting. While I know this isn't the final product I have found a couple instances where frame rates would drop all to hell (rendering multiple characters and enemies at once) but so far it definitely has the FF feel. I'll try and play some more tonight but I really like it so far (mp system is kinda hard to get into though).

Does anyone else have a random group of soldiers spawn out of no where when fighting that bigger yellow elephantsheep leader? I just wanna see how much exp it gives but like 1/3rd into the fight they show up out of no where and suddenly I'm fighting 4 soldiers, the yellow thing, about 6 orange elephantsheep things, and possibly some dogs that may have decided to pop up all at once. Annoying

Is it just me that thinks regenerating health and MP is kinda really dumb in a JRPG? why the fuck does XV have that?
Either the demo is on easy mode, or XV is streamlined to hell and back with hand holding.

So far I really enjoy FFXV. Been playing the demo since it released with Type-0. I can understand the frame rate since it's a demo, but I find the gameplay really fun. It will probably get a lot better at higher levels like how the KH games start out slow and pretty limited at low levels. I think they need some sort of dodge roll though, so you can get away faster without using MP. Other than that, I only wish you could still play as the other party members... It really sucks that they took that out when originally we were going to be able to.

I had that happen too. Was kinda annoying.

I also had Ignis completely disappear during my fight with Deadeye (seriously, no model or even any name in the lower right corner) and when I rested after the fight the game showed me a Japanese character and froze on me.

Finally, organic Eidolons are back. I was worried they'd get the Michael Bay Transformers treatment they got in XIII

Don't you knock the Cycle 69! That was the best thing ever, even if summons were completely useless in that game lol.

Also keep in mind Type 0 and 15 were made to follow the 13 mythos.
I haven't followed t0 or 15 at all. Elaborate?

Also I gots the freya shirt :3

One of the glitches I came across a couple times was in the cave. Some goblins came out, so I started to fight them, but Ignis, Gladio, and Prompto just stood there watching me fight until I was about to die. Then they help me and finally start fighting. lol

To solve that one I just ran over to them and they remembered how to ai.

l'Cie are people who are effectively given one goal in their life and have a choice of meeting that goal or not. If they succeed at the goal they turn into crystals statues and are able to stay that way until they are given a new goal (called a Focus). If they fail they are transformed into what is called a Cie'th, a monster with no mind and only know how to kill. Those are the primary things that run XIII as all the main characters are turned into l'Cie.

Time seems to fly by pretty fast in FFXV. Atm I'm still in the beginning grinding exp from the orange things and before I know it, the sun is starting to set. Also it's kind of annoying you don't level up from exp you got until you sleep.

I know that much, I played most of xiii. I mean are t0/xv direct sequels or just keeping the gimmick, like how chocobos and crystals and blue mages and whatnot were kept by later games?

PS4 version sounds a bit buggy o.o I haven't come across any weird glitches on Xbox One only the universal framerate issues.
I played the PS4 version for many hours now and haven't come across one bug. Guess, it's bad luck to stumble upon them in whatever version.
I love how big the demo and demo area actually is. :D As someone, who just loves to wander around in video games, apreciating the details, this demo will entertain me for many weeks, if not months. It was definitely worth buying my demo code.
I have a tip for you, to experience a nice detail:
You have to visit the Chocobo Ranch at least three times (you probably have to wait a day each time you visit it again) and each time you must listen to the lovey dovey couple, that is feeding the Chocobos. The third or fourth time something funny will happen. I lold hard. XD
