New (and probably last or at least last before release) Active Time Report of Final Fantasy XV in 20 minutes:

Well, I will be so kind to give you all the news:

- There will be two PS4 Pro modes: 4k checkerboard + HDR (day one) and 1080p + unlocked 40-50fps (around December)
- There will be a free holiday (Christmas?) DLC event in the game. One of the cities will be all festive and there will be activities you can do. There will also be new items. (Sounds very MMO-like.)
- Japan will get a third demo tomorrow. It will be the first one and a half hour of the game.
- There will be another ATR around the release of the game.

It's tomorrow Japanese time and it will stay Japan exclusive for some reason.

I just checked and the two day ps+ trial trick works with japanese accounts

Curious what one and a half hours means. If I stood in place for one and a half hours would it cut off and be like "PREORDER FFXV HERE'S A LINK TO THE PSN STORE" or is it the amount of progress they think people will make in that time?

Lol, Tabata said the demo will take about 1-1,5 hours to complete. Similar to the Platinum Demo taking about 30 minutes. If you stand around for like 5 hours and do nothing that's perfectly fine. XD If I get to play this demo, I will probably just run around and explore for 5 hours. Of course there will be a boundary similar to Episode Duscae, constraining where you can go. But people surely will soon find a way to circumvent that.

Nope. Though hopefully it'll be something you can keep after the trial runs out if it is something that requires PS+.

I can't navigate Japanese stuff worth shit and I don't Wana sacrifice to many GB Hotspot so I'll have to sit this one out unfortunately. If it was HK I could maybe reconsider.

Definitely never preorder from game stores or PSN. £49.99 is ALOT of money to waste on a video game.

Fortunately, I never really ever have to spend more than £40.

Alright question (did some digging but not specifically high results), PS4 pro came in the mail not too long ago. I take it that FFXV off the bat will run in it's best on first day release via PS4 pro or are we expecting an update patch to run at high optimal?
