Someone doesn't know what "critique" means, it seems. I read most of what is going on with the post, and I'm gonna say that there is so much drama. Either that, or they are just blinded by nostalgia.

He's likely trying to drum up public support for buying the IP from Koei Tecmo. It won't happen. I have tremendous respect for him, largely for creating DoA and the new Ninja Gaiden, but his last effort was NOT a good one. DLC nonsense aside, the current Team NINJA is doing right by the franchise.

That page is a giant Itagaki circlejerk. I agree it's filled with fanatic Itagaki loyalists instead of actual DoA fans. Luckily that means they represent only a tiny demographic and Itagaki credibility in the industry these days is currently in sink or swim status for Devil Third.

I've tried talking to Itagaki in the past. He pretty much ignores anything that contradicts what he wants to hear.

I also had no idea MESSY was this brainwashed. It really caught me off guard.

It's obvious that no matter how you reason with him (Rikuto & Sorwah), he swept a lot of your posts under the rug. He's already made up his mind to disagree with you.

Sounds like he feels that DOA5's approach to becoming more competitively viable in the gameplay department somehow alienated casual fans.
