I pretty much missed everything this gen really. Have a lot of catching up to do. So many good games out there. Other interests kept me pretty busy.
Same. I didn't buy PS3 until last summer (for DOA5) and have been catching up on so many other games. NGS2 was really good.I pretty much missed everything this gen really. Have a lot of catching up to do. So many good games out there. Other interests kept me pretty busy.
Thank goodness I don't have to shell out another 60 bones. Would have been infuriating to by the game all over again after getting ripped off of a quality product. Didn't expect a patch for something this massive in this day and age, so I'm cool with it.
Aaaaaaand for the record. I love playing as Rachel in NGS2 D:
Really, I can't stand NGS2... Despite all the added content it felt kind of barren after playing NG2. I think they halved the enemy count and made them dumber then upped the damage to compensate
NG2 on the standard difficulty was insane, I died like 10 times on a couple bosses. Also I'll never forget starting up mentor mode, that first battle... I just wish the game could keep a steady 60fps and wasn't so glitch ridden.
Comparing NG2's Master Ninja mode to NGS2's Master Ninja mode, vanilla (xbox) NG2 is much more difficult, imo. Sigma 2 has the added challenge of the female levels and the weird "one grapple = instant death" syndrome thing, but that fact that you are absolutely bombarded with a ridiculously absurd amount of essence coupled with the fact that you no longer have to save that essence strictly for weapon upgrading through the first half of the game lets you use items early on if you need them. You probably won't, as the beginning sections are not too difficult. But NG2, however, only gives you one break (Chapter 7). The rest of the game is always trying to beat you down, and those IS ninja spams are really hard to top.
Perhaps. Personally, I can't say. They're impossible to do with the AI partner and the netcode is too much crap to allow me to actually have a co-op play. Thus, I can't judge the difficulty of those accurately.Yeah, but with Sigma 2 mission/co-op missions I would say that overall Sigma 2 is the harder game.
No it hasn't been mentioned yet. The only new additions thus far are the two single player modes, costumes and maybe items have been moved around (superficial changes). So it's kinda hard to call it + when they are taking away! XDDid they ever mention whether or not Sigma 2+ will have online coop?

Ryu's DOA Throwback outfit.we don't know what it is but according to the almighty Chin apparently there is supposed to be even more features showing up.
Speaking of which, I was watching a gameplay video of Kasumi where it appeared she had access to regular shurikens, kunai, a windmill shuriken, and Ryu's agility move (the head pounce). Do all the alt. characters in RE actually get some selectable options and multiple tools/streamlining, or is Kasumi just special? Please let them bring back the tonfa, I love that weapon so much. Oh and Incendiary kunai for Ryu.
