Luna before Iris ;-)
I'd recommend doing the rare coin exp trick, you know it? I did it after finishing and the game is more fun now. Though I have to admit, I'm the enjoy being OP type of gamer. I do sympathize with @Mayor-Of-Mustard and her struggle with the fighting, I used much more potions than should be expected and had to switch to easy mode towards the end. Some could be lack of patience, cause after a while the game got a bit boring and I wanted to finish the story.
It's much more enjoyable now at lvl 90 than 34... I might soon try some dungeons again :-D

It's all about the sexy, badass, soldier girl triplets.

Aranea Highwind, Lightning Farron and Seven.

Easily some of my favourite FF characters ever next to Yuffie, Zell, Tifa, Lulu, Paine and Oerba Yun Fang. (Was gonna list more but ive blanked on them lol)

Just too bad that Aranea and Seven are only the backing dancers in tbe idol group, Light-Chan hogs all the limelight.

Awesome!! Thank you very much!! ☆.☆

This one is not the best, sorry, it's the easiest to find. It's better to fight the easy animals right next to this monster.
Just one kill and summon again. Use the flask, search a bit for it. I didn't save it... main difference is instead of fighting the big monster you one kill lesser enemies.

Uhhhh, no, elegance and darker gothic girls for the win, case in point Luna and Gentiana.

@ShinobiGuy It's fine, I'm sure this will help me, I need more exp and as much gold as I can get, I'm broke atm. <_<

Why do I think this sounds like a lot of work? xD

Took me about two hours, but I had 8 rare coins already. The video is not the best, find the one that does all this, but fights just the normal animals right next to this main monster, or just fight the normal animals instead of the main monster.

Man @Tyaren if these gifs were from actual regular people gameplay :p

It actually is. Sunhi (a Neogafer) makes these with the UI off and the combat cam at the closest to the playable character. It takes him a few attempts sometimes or just luck...but this is real gameplay.

I wonder how he'll look in that DFF engine art style!

I wonder about that too. Usually the characters get a slight Amano-makeover. More details, more pearls and beads (Amano likes pearls and beads, lol). He will probably also look even more feminine. Noctis is already a pretty boy but the Dissidia style will even exaggerate this.

On the 10th everyone will be awaiting Noctis and Square Enix will be like:

Nope!

But not regular people ;-)

No offense, I love the gifs, but never has the game looked that cool for me.

Instantly subscribed. This is by far one of the best videos I've seen lately. He even defended FF13 and a bit of the Luminous engine for those that care since he provided some slight points to it (I actually had to give an extra +1 to FF13 now for something that I've completely missed from it by checking on the game a bit). This peasant right here, is true to the FF holy grail of words and a fan. If you want to understand it, watch and listen to the entire thing before getting your panties soaked in by the immense kool aid he will be giving you. Best part is (7:35 - 9:40)

His priority choosing is slightly different to most. For me, ehhhhh..I'd have to go with Story > World > Characters > Combat > Graphics > Music.

Music should be the least of incredible concerns since it's really a matter of taste.

Oh, you found FFPeasant? XD Yeah, he's alright, very enthusiastic and knowledgable and he's kinda funny. Before FFXV came out he had a good, entertaining coverage and lots of speculations about the story. Little did he know that it actually turned out to be so simplified and like two thirds of it was cut.

Normally I don't subscribe to any since I always side with the thought of logic and avoiding the persuasion+indoctrination within the fancy side of it. This is the only video by far where he went to a certain FF root with an approach to how FFs normally are because such detail was not a major concern to how a "good" game is suppose to be.

FF13's graphics was not bad at all, honestly I feel they didn't need to upgrade the engine at all. Personally I found it to be incredible even for PS3 and should of sticked with it. That game looks really good in realistically scale in terms of standard opinions.

The thing about Final Fantasy XIII is, it also had a fairly troubled development(just not to the point that it got completely changed to a new game like XV though).

The game was delayed by a good year or two too, I believe it was originally supposed to come out sometime in 2008 but was delayed to December 2009 and March 2010 respectively. There was probably cuts or scrapped content entirely, or just complete changes that seem unnecessary like Oerba Yun Fang getting a sex change and taking crimson Lightnings personality.

XIII had good ideas but just had poor execution, which unfortunately is something the entire trilogy suffers from. XIII-2 and LR were both major cases of 1 step forward 2 steps back. The biggest fault in their execution was probably the "hallway" maps and narrative, your characters are branded l'Cie and pn the run from PSI-COM and Barthandelus the Sanctum Fal'Cie right? This gives story reason for being linear and unable to go to towns etc. But...

Honestly to stop the maps from feeling like hallways they could have done what Tales does which still have the maps be A -B but have extra things to explore with item spheres or something like that so they're not claustrephobic.

For me, Narrative was executed poorly due to the fact that they just throw you into the world and dont give you any hint of what any of the world lingo is in the cutscenes(much) or gameplay. Instead, you have to look at the in-game glossary and read an entire books worth of stuff just to get the world building lol

That, and the whole party is temporarily split up thing lasts waaay too long you get split up in Chapter 3/4 and dont have the full party until Chapter 9....5 whole chapters into the game lol
