I've never played doa2 ultimate so I don't really know much about Aerial Gardens but it looks really good. And doa5 needs a stage with rain as well. The characters would probably start off at max wetness meter in that stage.

You haven't even seen the best part of the stage in this video. (Can't find videos or pictures online.) The big water cascade on the top floor next to the pavillion where the fight starts is absolutely beautiful with the foaming and steaming water streams and fireflies dancing around.

DOA2 Ultimate stages were in general beautifully crafted and polished. I think it has by far the best stages out of every DOA.

Well, the costumes can actually have an impact in some cases. When I do ranked, I intentionally choose my fighter's most revealing outfits so that if someone who st young is playing with their parents in the room, you'll know by a sudden and abrupt RQ. I was playing against one young boy this one time and I chose legend Lisa, and the exchange with his grandfather went like this over his mic:
~What game are you....WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU PLAYIN'?! IS THAT A STRIPPER?!
~I don't know nuthin' man-
~THAT IS A STRIPPER! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF! THAT'S NOT HOW WOMEN DRESS!

And as expected, the guy RQ a short while later because the grandfather made him cut the game off. It was a dirty move on my part, but it helped.

If true this is Genius.

You seriously need to correct that, doa2u and 3 both hold up VERY WELL these days both graphically and gameplay wise. Compare those two games to #4 and its amazing how much better the character models in particular look (I think 4 has the WORST character models in the series).

The doa4 models looked much better in x2 but compared to 3 and 2u, I just don't think they look all that good, just look at the faces.

But weren't they the same faces? The skin textures and models changed somewhat, but I always thought that their faces looked the same, just with slightly more emotion.

@P2p1mbs The DOA4 models were a clear technical advancement over the DOA3 and DOA2U models. They had a higher polygon count, more animation bones, better textures and advanced shaders. They appeared very shiny and like made of plastic though, which not everyone was a fan of, including me. Also the plastic anime style of the character models looked off in comparison to the almost photorealistic art style of the stages. It was imho a good decision to scrap that art style for the new and overall more realistic art style of DOA5.

I'm hoping for something other than a collaboration set since I'm getting bored of them. ( unless its Final Fantasy or something! )

Nyo and Marie getting casual looking outfits in the last pack has Mr hopeful for possibly a vol 3! If not then I'd like another legacy set.

It probably won't be anything interesting, so I won't hold my breath but it'd be cool to see a 2nd Costume contest Awards set with more runners up from the first and several halloween contests.

Yeah that would be great as well, especially considering they have hundreds or possibly a thousand+ designs that haven't been used. I'm hoping its not a bikini pack either since they can now dedicate that to doax3.

i'm expecting one pack will be a bikini pack... and the 30 costume pack probably relates to the new stage.

Yeah when I saw that there's a costume pack of 30 with the stage I started thinking of what collab it could be.

It seems like it could be a dynasty warriors collab using the Aerial Gardens stage for it but that pack might be a design contest pack?!

If the new stage will be part of a big costume pack, I guess it makes sense for it to be paid. I guessed before that the new stage will be directly tied to a costume pack so I'm guessing they're reasoning is that we pay for the costumes and get a new stage with it.
