I just wish team ninja would give an actual explanation for it.
If I knew WHY, I would probably be more understanding. Whether it be due to them simply not liking the designs or being out of time, whatever the reason was, id at least like to know, since I was all excited for her to get a design like all the others.
But when I saw the leaked roster, I felt like

I notice in the original artists design for momijis outfit you can change her hairstyle. Did they add that into the actual game?

And I wonder half of the things they did either, but you really need to stop this pissed off attitude you have, it's really becoming a bit...obnoxious. It sucks Mila got the terrible Mummy costume(I wasn't all that happy Momiji got that one last Halloween), but sad shit like that happens, just deal with it and don't buy the costume pack like you say you did and drop it or....just drop it.

The sad thing is that this seems to be the actual trend so far...
But if I think about what is the potential of the character in the mind of the fans...
These the ideas posted in these few days on FB:
Lava, Electric, Ice skins
Galaxy, Metal skins
Darkness, Light skins (by the way very likely would be impossible to implement the first idea in this way for the problems with black background)
Joke astronaut outfit for her floating movements defying the gravity
And of course a skin tribute to Dural....

My opinions on the female outfits
My favourite outfit for Tina from the contest and like others have said she looks like vietiful Joe.
Every pack thats released Sarah's position as the red haired step child is confirmed more and more.
This outfit is amazing and even if it isn't the fiend hunter outfit its still incredible.
Don't care for her tag team with Rig but I've been waited for a good outfit for Phase 4 and this is it.
It's okay but its no Leifang's the bra doesn't work and I don't like the shorts.
So happy this outfit made it in this is flawless and was an instant buy. Hopeing necro is in LR.
The big ribbon is constantly clipping through everything and I just don't like this outfit.

The clevage area (or lack there of) makes this outfit look really weird.
This ouffit is my third favourite and I realy think it just all works together.
Its upsetting she didn't get her own outfit but I do like it more than Tina's.

As much as I hate Dural, that's actually not a bad skin for Alpha. The rest are cool.

So you will pay 20$ for 10 costumes instead of 28$ for 30?
I would't say any of the dlc for doa is cheap, even the ones discounted right now... their propably around 70% over expensive compared to other games lol

I completely agree. They really need to stop shafting poor Alpha. There's some excellent stuff they can do with her, like the examples you posted a bit below. Hopefully this won't be an issue again in LR but I sadly doubt it.From the overview of the DLC pack:
