If he stayed at Koei Tecmo, he probably would have continued to make XBOX games. He posted in an interview he'd be honored to work with them again.

No. If he did, I'd just tell him the reboot is gonna happen without him and watch him squirm. He may have created this franchise, but let's not leave him off the hook. Especially with how many plot holes he left behind that got fixed in his absense.

Itagaki did react to a DOA image I posted a while back via Azuchi on FB (roughly 2019 somewhere), it was during his moment regarding how he felt via DOA6 where he was on a spree for a while on the game on FB social media etc.
