Not really. Aside from moving forward in a crouch state, there's really not much similar between them. Alpha's feet are already off the ground before she touches the opponent, whereas Ryu's 33P keeps one foot on the ground at all times.

@Hollow If you're referring to the D-Combination then you're wrong. The thing that balances Dural out is her button execution for Full DMG. Next to Akira, Dural's execution timing is within 7-12 frames on nearly half of her moves in both stances. Plus, you can't button mash with Dural, its impossible. Most of Dural's moves besides the D-Combination needs to be buffered to be followed up properly. Some of Dural's moves are punishable, just not in the way most players are familiar with

@Lion and no Phase 4 is a mixture of Kasumi MAINLY and alpha and I think 2 moves of Hayabusa not every character's best move like Dural. And Dural is RARELY punishable because of this. Which is why they give you the option to toggle her off and on in online lobbies because she's that unbalanced.

Hollow, Phase-4 is a mass of The 4 Ninja's practical techniques and half her move have teleports that put her in advantageous positions for fast combos and mixups. Plus, Phase-4 can moonsault grapple from any from her teleports. Dural is a mass of Virtua Fighter's practical techniques with slightly faster frames, and she has a stance switch that changes her move set and her weight class. In one stance, Dural has quicker and weaker moves, in the other she has slower and punishable moves.

Boy P4 & Dural aren't alike in the least, Dural isn't unsafe after almost every move like P4 is and Durar sure as hell don't got any teleports know if you said Alpha & Dural are alike ok i'll kinda agree but what comparison do you have with P4 & Dural? No body want that broke bitch in here lol.
