2) Phase 4 does not have more powerful versions of Hayabusa attacks. She is NOT 5 characters in 1. She doesn't have Helena's blender and crushes, she doesn't have Kasumi's mixups, she doesn't have Hayabusa's holds, she doesn't have Ayane's evasion and she doesn't have all the crazy-ass BS Hayate has. Those are all of their best tools, and she doesn't have any of them.
3) Combo-hits are irrelevant. Damage is what matters. In 4 hits I can deal more damage than Kasumi can in 10, for example. Damage is what matters, and Phase 4 does not have damage that out-scales existing characters. Akira has higher. Rig has higher combo damage. Alpha has higher combo damage, etc.
4) That's exactly what I'm looking at: her advantages compared to the rest of the roster. And do you know what I see? Nothing. The existing roster has more threatening tools than Phase 4 every way you look at it.
Boy what??? P4 is KASUMI, a LIL alpha and a TINY but of Hayabusa like where is your knowledge of the is character coming from?? And if its about the character now? Ok Gen fu has free damage , loops and big damage, Jann has guarantees rests and frame advantage, Alpha has a high damage throw, like every character has their thing. But DURAL has TOO much. SO again lol no argument.
Hollow, you're missing the point. Its not about what Phase-4 can do, its about how advantageous Phase-4 is against the rest of the fighters.
Phase-4 has so many moves to her advantage, that she's practically five characters mixed into one. She can do stronger variants of Hayate, Hayabusa, Ayane, Helena, and Kasumi's techniques and with the ability to do 17-hit combos without walls, no less.
Phase-4 is lightweight like Kasumi. So the maximum amount of hits rounds to 12-15, correct? Phase-4 can do way more hits than that on Heavyweights such as Hayate and Hayabusa. I repeat, Phase-4 is exactly like Dural in more ways than one
I could be wrong, so don't hold me to this, but here are the things that generally dominate DOA5U:
1) Mixups
2) Blender
3) Crushes
4) Speed
5) Safety
6) Lows
7) Zoning
8) Damage
9) Shenanigans
So what does Phase 4 have? Mixups? Eh. Kasumi's are better. Blender? Can't say yet, but nothing I've seen. Crushes? Haven't seen anything too crazy. Unless she has hidden mid crushes no one's found yet, shouldn't be much of a problem. Speed? Slower than Kasumi. Still fast, but not getting into crazy territory. Her mid can be beaten with a grappler jab. Safety? Nope. Doesn't have that. Lows? Surprisingly, doesn't really have that. Nothing compared to kasumi and Hitomi, anyway. Zoning? Haven't seen anything too frightening. Teleports may be able to be integrated well, but in my experience as Hayabusa, teleports are overrated. Especially in zoning. Damage? Not bad, but not ridiculous, either. Compared to Sarah or even Alpha 152, her damage isn't incredible. Shenanigans? I put this last because at high level play, shenanigans aren't generally dictating a match. This would be where her teleports really come in, if anywhere. And honestly, even they did were great here, they're not compensating for all the other categories.
In short, I don't see what all the fuss is about. Phase 4 shouldn't hold a candle to half the current roster.
Her PPP>P doesn't ok and?? Can she be a little different from Kasumi? And thats not even a problem, Side step, Grab, Punis, can't blame no body for that but you if you get messed up by a PPPP move lol ijs
@Lion what are you talking about she DOES has to do damage or guard break to teleport, she can't so it whenever she wants to. so that just made your whole argument invalid #AntiDural
And besides there's another reason I suggested Dural to be added with Phase-4. The reason is Phase-4 can teleport cancel without the need for inflicting damage or guard breaking. If that's not fair, then I don't know what is
It would unfair if Phase-4 was added with a kind of leverage to balance the scale of power in Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. So I figured, why not suggest adding Dural? She's fast and she a Mid Heavyweight character. Plus, she can counter-balance the teleport reliant Phase-4.
