I don't remember if I formally introduced myself to this forum, but I hope to be a great contributor to this site.
My name is Death, and I primarily posted at DOA World. I don't belong there I guess, and I hope to fit in nicely here. I play DOA5 competitively (GT vgmkyle) and play as boss characters (Raidou, Tengu and Alpha). I feel like I can redefine them on my own without having to worry about stealing another player style, and they aren't popular and look bad-ass. When I need breaks from boss characters, I enjoy grappling with Tina.
I've also created a small tournament scene at a local arcade in Gambler's Paradise. It's been exhilarating to be so involved with the fighting community recently, and I hope to really push myself further this year. People have taken massive shits on me for playing DOA, and on my tournament scene in Vegas, telling me that I can't do it and that nobody cares about my game, but my tournaments are growing every time, and any profit I make is given to the community in some fashion.
I have drug problems, but have been clean for 30 days today. I thank my addiction to DOA5 for this, and the community. This is the reason I give back with what I can. I'm looking for new friends here and I'm always open to a good fight and a good challenge.

.Yes. Right now you'll find most of the action on PSN due to the v1.03 patch though. Basically just ask up in the Matchmaking thread to schedule a lobby with some other frequents, use the chat system at the bottom of every page, or use private conversation/message features.

Yeah, Johnstown's a little bit east of Pittsburgh out in the middle of nowhere. And I doubt I'll be making any trips to Philly any time soon. Mostly because of finances.

Anyways! My name is Chewie, and I just got into DOA 5 on the PS3 pretty recently. I am trying to main as Tina, and it's getting some moderate success. I actually won my first online ranked match yesterday night, but I give all the credit to lag (since I could pretty much see ALL of the frames. Individually).
I actually got introduced to this site about a month~ish ago, through AegisOrnus (here's a shout out, buddy). We normally play offline and that's how I first got introduced to DOA 5. He's a crazy Mila player with all sorts of tricks up his sleeve. I sort of hate him because of it since Mila is always rushing my poor Tina down. But after like some 500 odd matches, I finally got his pattern down. Sort of. Okay, maybe not. But I can now take defeat gracefully, so there's that.

Thanks man! I actually joined FSD about a month ago, but haven't been active. I just now find myself with all this free time to practice and actually post! So yeah, I'll try to make it out more! I'm planning on going to NCR, so that'll be fun (if DOA 5 gets onto the official games list, that is)
