FYI,
TOURNAMENT INFO:
Fireball Motion Entertainment LLC. presents DOA5:Ultimate minor singles double elimination tournament!

Doors open at 12PM for on site registration, and bracket play begins at 1PM (depending on pool size).
Venue Fee: $15
Game Fee: $10

PRIZE INFO:

Pot Split: 1st 70/2nd 20/3rd 10
Tournament Rules:
  • Prior to match start players are entitled to a button check.
  • Pressing the XBOX 360 guide button, or start button during match start is an automatic DQ of one round. This rule will be enforced at the discretion of the players opponent.
  • Tournament play will take place on an XBOX 360 console.
  • Double Elimination tournament format.
  • 2/3 Rounds
  • 2/3 Matches
  • 3/5 Match Set wins Grand Final Round (Loser Bracket Winner must win 3/5 Matches to send Winner of Grand Final into Losers Bracket thus resetting the bracket, and becoming a Losers Grand Final)
  • In the event of a Losers Grand Final (Grand Final Winner losing 3/5 matches to Losers Bracket winner) a set of 3/6 matches is required to win the tournament.

Anyone interested in DOA5U casuals tomorrow at Milpitas Golfland for Versus Weekly? I'm bringing my console + game for anyone that's interested in playing. Starts at 7:30pm tomorrow.

Versus Friday at MGL tonight. I'm bringing a 360 DOA5U setup for anyone that's up for casuals. There are PS3 setups with Ultimate on it also just in case. Only $5 for the entire night. We go from about 7:30pm till midnight.

How many of the NorCal players are going to attend the Last Man Standing tournament this Sunday? And more importantly, SCR next weekend?

who is going to NCR and also who is running it? I see that the reg say run it how ever you want. I really want to come up but need to fig out travel and stay.

I'm running NCR this year with help from Requiem & Hajin.

Lookout for details concerning NCR to be posted soon.

sweet this years NCR is so close to were i live, Most likely I will commute to the tourney no need for hotel expense its like a 25 min drive for me, one other thing is DOA5U being played on x360 or ps3? please say its xbox360

ATTENTION NORCAL PLAYERS:

I have potentially scored us a new venue to have weekly DOA casuals at (and possibly tournaments in the future). I met and played Pilo Master at SCR for DOA5U last weekend during pools. We spoke while playing casuals, and he is very interested in playing DOA more often. He is a Smash and Marvel player as well but he also wants DOA players to come out for DOA.

Casuals are hosted every Friday from 4pm to 12am.

I am posting this information now so that folks can plan ahead to attend next friday.
