Refined AA is very likely. Also 1080p resolution and refined self-shadowing should be possible now.
This however is very unlikely. Improving hair and cloth physics or improving the polygon models would take a lot of effort and time. Considering how many characters and hundreds of costumes there are already, they'd sit another year on this port.
I hope, we do see at least some better ground textures. This will also be a little more work, but it would be totally worth it. It doesn't have to be every stage, just the worst offenders, like Temple of the Dragon or Neo Toyko or the sand texture on Zack's Island.
Probably as much improvement, as the other ports from last gen to this generation of consoles, like FF Realm Reborn or the Last of Us.

I am so mixed on DOA5 Last Round.
On one hand, having it on next gen could easily help with those who simply want graphical improvements or better netcode...
But then you have the VERY massive issue in the fact that if there's anything exclusive specifically for Last Round, there will be plenty of people who will feel like this is a massive fuck you since for alot of people, most will usually buy next gen systems when there's plenty of games for it.
It also doesn't help if there's exclusive DLC or you have to buy EVERYTHING all over again.
I am truly hoping Last Round will be like Ultra Street Fighter 4 in this case(All costume DLC being used and all characters unlocked from the start) or I'm gonna be so pissed.

I don't know how much effort goes into this kind of stuff but Team Ninja does focus a lot on their character models.
Well, so far it looks just like a simple port... Also, do we know, if Team Ninja also thinks, the hair isn't thick or flowy enough?

It won't be out until spring 2015 and they've likely been quietly working on this for a while, so idk about it being a simple port.
That's a good point, they did make Kasumi's down the default on several of her outfits and all of Phase 4's outfits.do we know, if Team Ninja also thinks, the hair isn't thick or flowy enough?
DOA5LR is giving me mixed emotions. The only issue I have with it is how TN is going to handle DLC. For people like me who bought majority of the DLC, can I transfer it over to LR? I already suspect that Marie Rose, Phase-4, and Nyotengu will already be included for free. Also, will Ultimate owners get the new stage in LR? I just need more information before I can say this is a good or bad idea.

I'm definitely going to buy the complete bundle pack for Phase-4 and Nyotengu (even if I would love to try to get the characters for free through pwnit, but just more for the fun of the 'challenge' XD): I like both the characters, I waited too much for playing with the tengu-do in the game and I'm not getting a console of the next gen for a long time...

I think that this will be the same case as it was for 5-->5U. Probably none of the DLC will transfer over (however they may include some outfits that were originally DLC from 5U as unlockable on-disc content). Also any new stage or character will most likely be exclusive to LR as well.
