News Team NINJA Costume Contest

It's quite sad to see it taken down. If anything, I will take their word that they won't pick the highest liked costume. But at the same time, It's sad to see the outfit backfire when it could of been the lucky ones to win as well.
Sigh perhaps the voting could have been done another way. Liking a post can definitely be manipulated in some way by a robot if that really was the case - I don't know for sure, so I can't exactly rule out that possibility.

Maybe each entry should have been given a number, and so the voters have to directly message TN with the 9 numbers they like, instead of just pressing the like button? I don't know if a robot can manipulate this?

yeah that won't work, someone could easily just write a script for that

But does anyone honestly care about the prizes, sure it would be cool to get a shirt or something but I wouldn't go through this much effort for one.

Oh my idea does seem easy to manipulate, doesn't it :s. I really don't know then >_<!

Oh I know that sometimes online when you want to access something, a box comes up asking you to input the numbers from an image, to make sure you're not a robot. Do you think TN can do something like that? Or that might be too much to set up I don't know >_<

Yep likes can be botted. They basically use other peoples accounts to like your stuff. You can get "REAL" so called likes from people, but if you look at most of the people liking the picture most of them don't have anything even on there FB or some doesn't look like they have been active for years. kinda weird howd they be suddenly like A DOA contest.

Either someone who is obsessed with rachel is botting or paying for likes. or the person who made it is.

But he already said he doesn't get why its happening so not gonna say he is lieing.

It wouldn't surprise me if someone who is obsessed with Rachel that is doing this cuz, I remember that one time on twitter there was like 100s of message asking for her stupid long gold flowing hair. So could be botted, lol.

Doing this on FB wasn't a good idea to begin with. LIkes is a bad way to do any competition needs to be done another way.

My wonder is it could be possible to see how many of those votes are "fake" or whatever and which are true? It can be known how many votes my Rachel's outfit could have right now if all this mess never happened? And I think that no, it can't be known. So... I'm not expecting anything more than just being remove it from the contest.

But what frustrates me more is that yesterday night when I saw my design online I was really excited. Now I'm terribly disappointed and quite angry. I feel absolutely impotent. What can I do? Nothing. Just sit and see how someone is sabotaging my entry.

Looks like it has stopped. 19.500 votes. LOL, that's a f*cking nightmare.
(Edit: no, it doesn't stopped. Still going on... Bah. F*ck this contest and f*ck FB)

I voted for my favorites done by FSD people: King Bass, F.Strike Bayman, Cape Ein, my Marie, brother's Momoji, and am curious who did this Rig (I think it's someone from here):

I won't let the unbuttoned pants stop me. Maybe he can just button them.:)

For Part 2, anyone here do Jann-The Dragon or Casual?
Or anything else in P.2? Wish we had a listing of all FSD entries.

Thanks!

Hmm you could probably use some like script and sabotage the costumes you don't want to win.

Remember guys : this contest is mainly pure marketing. That's the reason why it's on Facebook, to encourage people to share and like and talk about it. It's a good visibility for the game and a good way to gather the community.

If TN likes a costume (let's say Kodachi's, which is not winning but which is really good), it could still be in it. Just because Kasumi's amazing costume is winning doesn't mean they will put it in... it could be too sophisticated and not "in the spirit" of TN's art director.

Like some people say, the best thing would be one costume per character (a giant pack) to satisfy as many fans as possible. It would be a shame for instance not to have Doctor Ryu AND Cop Ryu. They are both arguably iconic already!

BREAAAAAKING NEWS : my costume now has 2 likes!

i cant see TN just using one. people gave them hundreds of already made designs for free , that's stuff they would normally have to pay workers a lot of money to make. throwing away hundreds of good pre-made designs is a huge waste of potential profit.

I'll be honest, I made Mila's yoga outfit as simple as possible so if they like the concept it would be easy for them to add to the game lol.

The contest winner doesn't guarantee the outfit makes it in the game right? If so, then it shouldn't matter, since TN will put that Rachel outfit in the game regardless if they want to.

Really hope they do, since it's a fantastic design that suits her perfectly. Oh yeah, and pants.
