I hope Anthony Birraux's Helena will win some votes. It's my favourite costume so far.

Okay, so maybe there WAS a time when that was a thing 200 years ago, but the English don't wear kilts anymore. I have never known anyone who is not scottish to wear a kilt. As a native Englishman I have never heard of such a thing really.

The kilt is a sacred Scottish tradition traditionally worn by proud Scots, and it could be considered offensive when worn by a non native Scottish person and since the English and the Scottish don't really get on this furthers the possibility to offend.

Don't take it to heart, I'm neither defending the guy or attacking the costume I'm just pointing out what could be from a native english perspective.

How come you went with a kilt anyway? it was the last thing I suspected on Eliot of all people, considering.

Yep as someone from the UK, what @UpSideDownGRUNT said is correct. But I don't think TN will think about this. Heck they gave bikinis to a shrine maiden XD. So DW @Tyaren I'm sure you weren't trying to be offensive in your design at all ^_^.

Not really. Even if the english don't wear them anymore (I'm almost positive some do because I've seen Americans wear them) they certainly have in the past.

I think the creator of the design is @Shiranui, and they have no clue as to how and why they have so many votes :\. Check out what they said on page 103 of this thread. I feel bad for them, to put hard work into the design and have a controversial amount of votes.

That is the problem. Someone put an effort into that costume, only to get disrespected such as this.

I know i'm repeating myself to say "Yes the likes won't count as the winner overall." But the amount of sheer disrespect is at it's finest here.

It's quite sad to see it taken down. If anything, I will take their word that they won't pick the highest liked costume. But at the same time, It's sad to see the outfit backfire when it could of been the lucky ones to win as well.

Stupid of team ninja to base it on facebook likes, should of added the costumes to their website and have people vote their so the votes can be controlled and the cheaters dealt with.
