I realized when I posted my comparison picture of honoka and nyotengu yesterday, that the shine on the suit wasn't the same. I ended up finding out that I needed to do some additional hex editing to achieve the exact shine.

although, this is bad news for those who wanted the matte to toggle with detail. this new proper shine cant go matte with detail selection. so my options are to include the matte as a separate file, or to include the detail toggle version separately, that only toggles between matte and the incorrect shine. so which ones do you guys/gals prefer?

That's simple.
just skin dds save as dxt1 format(no transparent)

If you want partitialiy shiny, paint alpha channel white wants area , and save as dxt5 format.

Both shines are cool, but i'd prefer the "after" shine. So,now, it depends from the other modders/people what they want XD.
But any choice is good for me
