Not sure they claimed it was all new. I only saw the word 一新 would could be an updated version of the same engine. There is no "new" graphics engine.
I have some pretty damning evidence that it is using DOA6's engine. like the Beach scene in the reveal trailer.
anyone who's played DOA6 will recognise that overblown blinding white void.
As long as they updated it, I probably won't mind so long as they actually improved upon it to actually BE a good engine. Not sure they claimed it was all new. I only saw the word 一新 would could be an updated version of the same engine.

She actually looks okay here, but alas this seems photoshopped to death.
This might be closer to what she's going to look in-game:
She looks fine to me imo, I don't understand the overreacting on how Misaki looks atm since this is just a teaser, I'm sure at release they'll get the lighting and facial stuff figured out. Iirc, DOA6 had problems like that where some characters looked off and where the lights and effects were wonky but they fixed it decently.Keep in mind that Team NINJA also uses some bad lightning transitions to change sequence.

Well, almost decently... They still deflated the chests for no real reason, all to mimic Marvel or at least their MCU and Shimbori making talk that indicated he adhered to the woke view of women. She looks fine to me imo, I don't understand the overreacting on how Misaki looks atm since this is just a teaser, I'm sure at release they'll get the lighting and facial stuff figured out. The chests weren't deflated, I work with blender and use the models alot for mods and the chests are pretty much the same size as DOA5, idk why people went with that narrative that the boobs are smaller when they're the same size xDWell, almost decently... Maybe because of that image of Helena where she was very clearly seen to be smaller chest-wise than in DOA5 in one of the teasers? The chests weren't deflated, I work with blender and use the models alot for mods and the chests are pretty much the same size as DOA5, idk why people went with that narrative that the boobs are smaller when they're the same size xD
She wasn't flat, that was pre doa6 release before they added boob physics back in if you're referring to this:Maybe because of that image of Helena where she was very clearly seen to be flat in one of the teasers?
It wasn't a fart, it was just a weird sand dust effect since I'm guessing they included her stretching as something that could cause the sand dust, you see the effect earlier too when she's doing the leg stretchesI generally play without sound, so I wouldn't know one way or another if they did include farting. Though that being said, them including that bit is a bit unusual.
So far as the PS4/PS5 versions, since the game's region-locked, I don't think we need to worry about them undergoing censorship since Sony of America won't even be a factor in the game's release.
Even if they were, I'm pretty sure it being Japan/Asia-exclusive would probably prevent it from having those edits being mandated. I'm not entirely sure we're out of the SJW era, though, since we've still got quite a few SJW mandates that are being forced onto it (I think one of the former editors of Famitsu actually talked about that bit). Heck, even Disney's still pursuing the SJW angle even while it's literally bleeding them money by doing that. Until they bury DEI and anything relating to it, I'm doubtful we're out of the SJW era any time soon.It wasn't a fart, it was just a weird sand dust effect since I'm guessing they included her stretching as something that could cause the sand dust, you see the effect earlier too when she's doing the leg stretches
And I doubt they'd censor the game anyway. We're not really in the SJW era anymore so I'm sure games can do what they want now, especially since it's a Japan based game by default so they won't have to adhere to western restrictions
