The difference is that you can pick Amy Sorel out if a crowd. Marie is generic as hell. rather they'd taken the loli topic on a serious note like batman

But for the love of god Marie rose needs an overhaul on her design.

Digimon recently did that as well

I think it would be pretty interesting if the new character had a similar design to that.

I want a character like Audrey from huniepop. Seriously her dialogue is everything.

I'd like a man of justice. 35-40 years old. A "human" version of Ryu, but less serious and monotonous. Someone capable of becoming the main non-ninja "male" character, like Jin Kazama in Tekken. Someone working for the CIA or something. He doesn't have to be manly. He could also be a Shaolin monk or a adventurer.

Problem is that Bayman already fills that role because of his missions. But Bayman should find another goal in DOA6. He deserves better than being Helena's lapdog. The man needs to take his revenge... I mean, after 5 installments, I cannot wait to see the climax!

Bayman would be "The Man Who is Seeking Revenge", while the new male character would be "The Man of Justice". That would be the difference. One is "controlled" by his emotions (anger), the other just follow his values and has a real sense of morality.

Regarding his personality, I'd like him to have more derision than most male characters (the opposite of Leon). Not a clown like Zack (sorry), but rather Nathan Drake's relaxed attitude.

I'm curious about this new character in Spring. Is it someone they have designed for Vanilla but that they could not put in? Is it a totally new design? Shouldn't they keep him (or her) for DOA6?

For me, Libra in Fire Emblem really represents that emotion of "calm strenght".

With Shenmue being more and more relevant, Ryo would be the perfect option for Koei's marketing ambitions. And a Shenmue stage would be nice as well.

But I suppose Ulala would be cheaper and would actually sell better..

Actually I'd rather prefer that Marie Rose kept more of her gothic lolita personality and fashion sense than those awful denim shorts and casual tops that TN keeps giving to her.

If the next character is a male, I would love for him to be a Yakuza male. With lots of tattoos, a brawling fighting style, and a cool personality. He could be between his late 20s to mid 30s. And he could be something like this.

But if female I want her to be a Yanki/Sukeban.

Speaking of Huniepop, I'd like if the new girl was like Beli

DOA has a black girl, a spanish girl, and a bunch of white and asian girls. An brown girl is needed now, and I'd prefer if she were Indian like her.

Although a Arabic girl like Pullum from SF would be cool too.

The classic "what nationality is Lisa discussion".

Answer: Who cares because TN clearly don't.

PS: Come on SoftCabbage, Really now?

Okay, guys. Cabbage is from Southeast Asia. I wouldn't be surprised if people the world over were not up on the "Euphemism Treadmill" when it comes to talking about black people. After all, the United Negro College Fund is still a thing.

To be helpful this time, "negro" typically isn't used anymore as it brings up memories of fairly recent, terrible times in America and other places where black people weren't treated all that well (understatement). The word "nigger" (which people really know not to use at this point [minus people from the hood]) is a language corruption of the word "negro".

So, unless you're speaking in Spanish, or referring to older books or organizations or spirituals and stuff, it's a word best left alone. Black is typically all good. Attaching "African" onto to the front of something is okay, e.g. African-American. Try to stay away from "colored", too. Sounds harmless, but...there's history there, too.

To be honest I suspected that SoftCabbage didn't mean anything by it and it was just a cultural misunderstanding.
