I feel like everyone's too powerful. Y'know? Like... They do too much damage because I can still lose. Ten points of damage for a jab? Come on! It's a jab. It should be like... one point, maybe. Nerf everyone so they do like no damage and I never have to worry about losing.

OK on topic:
2 things need to be addressed (though they wont) in my opinion.
First: Reduce the movement tracking so we can proper sidestep
like it is on VF5FS or TTT2.
Second: Add side throws again like VF's or TTT2.
I wonder after so many iterations why these two mechanics aren't
implemented on DOA's fighting engine?
Everything else is fine!

I've experienced an incredibly annoying problem in Ultimate that wasn't happening in regular 5.

I've had multiple instances where sidestepping completely avoids a throw. I've been on the receiving end and giving end of this, and losing a match because your arms phase through someone is really annoying.

Well, sidestep buff aside, they'd have to come up with side throws for all of the characters. Concepts, animation, implementation... Even if they just did 1 per character, that's still a decent amount of work.

As much as I like that concept. It does sound like some work that they probably won't even have time to implement it.
