DOA5LR List of New Content!

For the XBO version of Core Fighters, I don't see why TN didn't just have it as the first original DOA1 characters that are available. Hell, for $5, they might as well have 10 characters available.
Hayabusa, Kasumi, Bayman, Jann Lee, Zack, Lei Fang, Tina, Gen Fu + Hayate & Ayane.

Still fine the way it is, but It'd be more of a "throwback to the DOA1".

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but the stun for Kasumi's 66PP is different. Instead of turning the opponent around, it's the stun where they hold their forehead.

dont think Kasumi fans are going to like that...or maybe they will i dont know i dont play as her. willing to bet they did it to differentiate between Phase 4 and her though

There's actually 'New Challengers' pack for people who will pre-order through the PlayStation Network.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know about it: I suppose that this pack will include the swimsuits for Marie Rose, Phase 4, Nyotengu and the new girl, indeed the new female challengers in DoA5.

So, I'm not sure if I get it but, is that right?
After DOA5U's launch, we had 3 new characters (MR, P4 & NT) and 2 (ok, 1.5) new "old" stages (Lorelei, haunted lorelei)... and the game was still DOA5U.
And now, we have a "new game" for current gen (with a new name!) with only 2 new characters and 2 new "old" stages.
Hum... Am I the only one thinking that it doesn't really deserve to be a "new" doa?

I'm back. Let's go over what happened.

The Bad:
-Stages, hairstyles and easy customization are next gen only. Ouch. That's not gonna look good on TN. Then again, I was planning to go XB1 on this anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter to me. I get all my content, after all.
-More bikinis. First thing I saw. How many packs is this. It's DLC Cycle Phase-2 yet again.
-Hayabusa's pre-order costume. I'm getting really tired of these outfits that have only add-ons to the LBF.

The Good:
-Hayate gets a costume I voted for. Yay!
-Alpha gets an actual costume. Didn't expect that. She has a chance!
-The Ninja Pre-Order pack, with the exception of Hayabusa. Masked Kasumi and Ayane FTW! The fact that it's from Gamestop, which I always pre-order from is awesome, too.
-Crimson. Awesome stage, though wish it was DOATEC HK so I could be right.

The Meh:
-Trial version and Core Fighters for XB1. Odd, but not an issue for me, since, again, I'm buying the full game.

The Bad:
-Hayabusa's pre-order costume. I'm getting really tired of these outfits that have only add-ons to the LBF.

It's his 5th best costume in this game, though. haha

Every version has something different going on... horrible way to market games. Confuse the customer, and after they make a decision, make them feel ripped off about it.

No stages, on the older consoles? As if they couldn't run them.

I learned from vanilla that I didn't care about story mode or characters besides mila. So come ultimate I opted for core fighters and only bought mila, music, And Leon.

Now I'm waiting to see news to see if I'm going core again to whittle it down to the very few elements I care about with Last Round.

If this game was for the Hardcore fanbase they would be working on gameplay improvements, not on "soft engine" breast physics and topless pre-order costumes.
