People, realize that this is still DOA5 at the core. It's more of an HD remaster of DOA5U + added content. They probably won't do anything else new until DOA6. Also, it makes sense to keep certain features exclusive to current gen (PS4/XB1), otherwise you wouldn't buy it.
On a serious note, I'm pretty sure, there will be only that many penguins in the PS4/Xbone version. DOA5U ran already close to it's limits on PS3/Xbox360. That's why the textures are so bad, the polygon architecture of the stages is so blocky and no antialiasing is to be found. To now considerably increase the amount of penguins for the old generation seems impossible to me. The huge flock of penguins we saw in the trailer was from the PS4 version, as basically all the stuff we've seen so far.

No and the story mode was confirmed to be the same of DoA5.
I guess that want to save some things for Dead or Alive 6. I honestly think this is best, to be honest.
Well, time for me to pre-order from Best Buy this time.

I'm usually neither a big fan of Helena (sorry!
) nor of bikinis as costumes, but at least in the concept art, Helena looks absolutely gorgeous. That's how you do skimpy right! Stay true to the character with the overall theme and place value on coherence and the details...apart from just butt and boob cracks.

So... laws of physics (and clothes) no longer exists... neckwear and tshirts are very different things. Kasumi's, Ayane's, and Hitomi's annoy me. That wouldn't actually covet anything.
On the other hand, the ninja costumes are super cool and some of the other swimsuits are cute. I like Rachel's a lot. It's also nice to see Lisa getting involved. Haha.

This is just when you start The Crimson level, you're at the top of the building, move back a bit to the walls and you hit this to get into the hidden room.
The TV and the prototype Xbox before you hit it.
The TV after you hit it, it makes the same sound thingy the original Xbox makes when you switch it on.

- updating Ultimate to LR on my PS3 and then buy the new costumes
and
- buy LR's digital copy on PS3 to get the new costumes
Can someone explain ?

Only thing that would make this more epic would be if they gave Ryu the second iteration of his Legendary Black Falcon outfit back (the one from Ninja Gaiden 2)

The new stages, the new customization options and select screen remain an exclusivity of the next gen only.

I think the latter is if you don't have Ultimate. If you do then you can get the free update, and there's a Last Round set for you which you have to buy that has the new characters and costumes. But the new hairstyles and stages you'll miss out on if you don't have a One or PS4.
I guess I won't have to spend £25 for that digital version of 360 LR, thank goodness! I'll just use the LR patch for Ultimate and then later get the next gen version whenever I get either console.
