I kinda think blue should a been on Tina and pink on Lisa though. Not sure why.

I agree the colour pallet is 100X better the outfit just works with Lisa.

So now that TN went to the trouble of creating it, do you guys think Brad Wong will have a loose hair option for all outfits in LR?

I can't disagree stronger. D: The white/pink/red/gold combination looks much better, than the white/violet/blue/silver combination. The latter hurts my eyes and doesn't pay homage to the color scheme of Viewtiful Joe and Cutey Honey anymore, which clearly were the inspiration of the designer. Also the one piece suit of Tina looks classier as Lisa's variation. (Tina looking classier, that's a first! XD) Honestly, the original is by far better.

Its less viewtiful Joe, and more "generic sentai" outfit, to me. This sounds like people thinking Leifangs outfit is based on lum, rather than the standard Oni design that it is.


That said, as was evident with my low opinion of doa5s menus and stages, as well as my contest submission, I far prefer blues and silvers over warmer colors.

Plus the bare legs of Lisa's outfit makes her look like a western style superhero.

Because there were fan costumes that could of been used. Some of which already had bandages.


So no it doesn't fit mma. It would have been fine if the bandages were arranged into a sports bra, arm bands, foot wraps, and pants. Well not fine, but better.

The best part of Mila's model on that is how her feet look like they're floating. It looks like she's supposed to be in heels that aren't there.

I don't see inspiration from Viewtiful Joe in Tina's outfit. I do believe Cutie Honey partly inspired it but also Gatchaman's Jun the Swan as well. The colour scheme seems very reminiscent of her plus the sunglasses could be inspired partly by her helmet, though I think they were mostly inspired by Gurren Lagann.
