We get it, every female pack is the "bad phase". No one cares about your made up phases lol.
One person replied positively so clearly someone cares, even if it's only one.

Maybe you don't know the cycle. It's not "Good Phase, Bad Phase." Let me outline it again.

In case you can't rely on the visual aid, here's a translation:

In Phase 1, people begin speculating the DLC, coming up with a bunch of cool ideas, like characters and costumes. Lots of requests are made for a specific one, too. During this time, other people, including Argentus, Brute and myself will believe that the costumes are fetish wear for only the girls.

In Phase 2, it's revealed the costumes are fetish wear only for the girls, as we expected. The costumes are often skimpily designed, and may even be missing some of the girls like Rachel and Lisa. As for the character, like Honoka, Phase 4, Marie Rose and Nyotengu, the character is a complete unknown.

In Phase 3, we buy the costumes anyway. Maybe individually, but we still buy at least some of them. Then Europe gets a delay on the DLC, so they can't buy them.

We then begin speculating what the next one is, which brings us to Phase 1.

Sometimes, something different happens, and TN releases stuff we've waited for for a long time, or something the forum likes. This pack also includes male characters, so the forum tends to eat it up, and we get excited. That, in turn, is followed by a longer wait for DLC, making it seem like this was the only chance we get.

Now that I've explained so thoroughly, I may need to update it for new patterns, like some girls getting shafted, or Mila getting something Argentus doesn't like.

I know that was a shot at me, but whatever I'm just bored enough to say why not, make me part of the official cycle lol.

I'm personally fine with swimsuits or any sexy dlc.

My problem is only at DLC that sells retexture or recolor, old costume design, and clone design being used by characters in one dlc pack - although I would tolerate it at some cases like Fighter Force pack.

I can't stand the fact that the packs that they release have 20-50% of recolors of same costumes, and they charge 3$ for each costume now, ludacris... :(

I dont mind getting 1 swimsuit dlc each summer either, It's w/e.. It's the color swaps and copies that rly piss me off lol.

Look at original DOA5 swimsuit dlc. lol. They literally sold recolors over different packs for non poster girls. Horrible.

I have DOA5+, I want to buy the swimsuit dlcs, but I don't wanna get f*cked at the same time because of this.

I dunno why anyone would try to dispute it. It's the cycle that happens. It's happened so often (even considering the Ninja 2015 packs) that there is a trend/pattern.
Perhaps TN will be good insane for once and produce 8 male swimsuits in their last swimsuit pack.

When it comes to DLC costumes in DOA, it's basically all down to personal preferences. Some people, like myself, just like having all the DLC for a game they love, be it costumes, characters, and the like. However, for the casual consumer, they have the option of just buying the costumes they like or dislike for their character(s).

I'm like that, I can afford it, but at this point it's so lazy that I'm torn between wanting all the content (even if it's bad) and not wanting to support such disgustingly lazy releases.

And where is Helena's Arabian dancer outfit from DOA2U and the genie from DOA3 anyway?

My first DLC-available ps3 game was DW7.

And guess what? I bought every single piece of them, until one day I counted the total amount of the stuff I bought that it could get me another Japanese copy of DW7 (around 80usd).

Plus, I bought Japanese psn vouchers, so there goes additional charges on some tinky-winky stuff that the fun didn't even lasted a day. I felt very stupid and since then I have been wise and stingy when buying dlc. Right now I'm like window shopping only when it comes to dlc.

I bought Hitomi's "Tactical Thrills" costume I kinda like it and its one of the few costumes that works with hairstyle C lol.

One thing that urks me... Why do they wear metal underwear? That seems uncomfortable
