Tbh, nobody cares what they're wearing when they're busy fighting.
^ this. I remember playing someone who chose helena in her swimsuit, but the only thing i was looking at, was the combo he was doing.

Same lol. Feels....wrong if there's a spot of wrong color on my outfit.I'm just very superstitious about the color underwear I choose for my character :x
One person replied positively so clearly someone cares, even if it's only one.We get it, every female pack is the "bad phase". No one cares about your made up phases lol.
I know that was a shot at me, but whatever I'm just bored enough to say why not, make me part of the official cycle lol.One person replied positively so clearly someone cares, even if it's only one.
Maybe you don't know the cycle. It's not "Good Phase, Bad Phase." Let me outline it again.View attachment 12631In case you can't rely on the visual aid, here's a translation:
In Phase 1, people begin speculating the DLC, coming up with a bunch of cool ideas, like characters and costumes. Lots of requests are made for a specific one, too. During this time, other people, including Argentus, Brute and myself will believe that the costumes are fetish wear for only the girls.
In Phase 2, it's revealed the costumes are fetish wear only for the girls, as we expected. The costumes are often skimpily designed, and may even be missing some of the girls like Rachel and Lisa. As for the character, like Honoka, Phase 4, Marie Rose and Nyotengu, the character is a complete unknown.
In Phase 3, we buy the costumes anyway. Maybe individually, but we still buy at least some of them. Then Europe gets a delay on the DLC, so they can't buy them.
We then begin speculating what the next one is, which brings us to Phase 1.
Sometimes, something different happens, and TN releases stuff we've waited for for a long time, or something the forum likes. This pack also includes male characters, so the forum tends to eat it up, and we get excited. That, in turn, is followed by a longer wait for DLC, making it seem like this was the only chance we get.
Now that I've explained so thoroughly, I may need to update it for new patterns, like some girls getting shafted, or Mila getting something Argentus doesn't like.
I'm personally fine with swimsuits or any sexy dlc.
My problem is only at DLC that sells retexture or recolor, old costume design, and clone design being used by characters in one dlc pack - although I would tolerate it at some cases like Fighter Force pack.
I can't stand the fact that the packs that they release have 20-50% of recolors of same costumes, and they charge 3$ for each costume now, ludacris...
I dont mind getting 1 swimsuit dlc each summer either, It's w/e.. It's the color swaps and copies that rly piss me off lol.

Gen Fu needs a thong and show his bare saggy ass.
I'm wondering the same thing. Doa's dlc, as a general rule, is crap. But the other tk games get good dlc? What's the deal here? And DW has like 88 characters or somethinfn, to boot. Each with a unique costume PER PACK.
Some people, like myself, just like having all the DLC for a game they love, be it costumes, characters, and the like.
Helena's fighting stance ruins most of her costumes though. They're all designed for someone standing upright, while she's like a hairpin most of the time lol.
