Well actually, when I was young, I didn't know it was from Deception so I thought it was a nice "French pirate" costume...
I liked the shortened ponytail too... (half the size of the usual one)

Wow, I never noticed that Helena got a different hairstyle with that outfit... but this happened just in the old DoA2 versions, right? Or was it present even in DoA2U?

They appear to be ripped right out of the latest iteration of Deception, with perhaps some small details like the necklaces and buttons being recreated from scratch.
TK did the same thing with Hyrule Warriors. Those OoT costumes for Zelda, Link, and G-dorf? Pulled straight from OoT 3D, blocky polygons, blurry textures and all. I thought they were kinda cool like that to be honest, but it was very noticeable. I'm pretty sure the TP and SS costumes were like this too.

It's going to come to a point where they're going to stop trying to actually make good costumes and go back to making bikinis. At least they made money that way.

Honestly, I love the Deception costume set. The texture issue doesn't really bother me, because honestly, we've all gotten used to the clipping of certain objects in the game. I really like that males got to get in on the fun of the destructible outfits, showing that Team Ninja have been listening about not excluding the males from costume sets and certain features. I was really impressed with the season pass costume DLC packs.

Not sure what else I can do. Don't have money to buy everything, and I only use 2 characters. I make it a point to buy the costumes I like. This pack had no characters I use.

I only buy as well costumes for characters I use (Rachel and Nyo mainly, sometimes Hayabusa, Kasumi and Momiji too). And I don't buy any bikini, swimsuit, or any kind of stupid sexy stuff such as pijamas and towels, police, clean maids, etc. Not even for Rachel or Nyo.
