Ok now I'm fully on PC. Just for the sake to complete my previous post to @Tyaren, basically Zeo wished for something able to give a resemblance of Ein's C1 from DoA3 (that indeed is often compared to Neo's costume from "The Matrix"), but of course had to be tied to the Halloween theme. The most simple idea for implementing this concept was to create something close to a modern vampire slayer and Blade was just one of the main references for it that Zeo mentioned to me.
The idea was try to come with something that was inspired to the classic Vampire Slayer outfit and to Ein's C1 from DoA3, but again that was also able to be distant from them and to his current C1 in Doa5U/5LR, just because I reminded as Shiranui's Vigoorian armor for Rachel was discarded exactly for this reason; in the end to make something that was a middle way between a modern and ancient vampire slayer outfit (think to Blade and Van Helsing as extremes).
So I tried to make something that was a mixture between modern and old, actually getting inspiration from many fictional characters (sometimes even unconsciously and realizing it just a posteriori). The cloak of Ein is purposefully not a modern leather one but has a feeling of works as DMC or Castlevania (or at least that was the intention), the armor and the symbols on the chest of Ein is not a modern klever armor but want resemble an ancient armature as an iron plaque (actually it would be silver), same thing for the kneepads. Of course glasses, guns and booties say the opposite.
I also believed that an Halloween outfit needing of a black coat could be a very smart choice for Ein, just because he end to make use of one of the main elements of the vestiary of the character, associated to his current main outfit (and to his past ones from DoA2 and DoA3). Let's think for example to Phase 4 Grim Reaper: in my opinion visually that outfit is perfect because needs to make wear Phase of a cloak with cape, just what is her classic vestiary. In addition the Grim Reaper bring the death just as Phase 4 does too; and to be fair sometimes the Grim Reaper is represented as a sad figure that doesn't like what he does or that at least doesn't make it for pleasure but just because this is simply its duty, again just like the same happens for Phase 4 killing unpleasently and only because MIST orders her to do.... in short I believe TN couldn't not choose that outfit and I still can't think to a better Halloween one for her, it's fitting in all the parts of the character (and again created making it far from appearing a clone of her iconic C1).
What I want say is that an outfit starting from a similar basis could have a good chance to be succesfull, even if of course all depends how then the concept is developed (it was perfectly possible to make a completely different Halloween outfits for Ein making use of a black coat)
All this wall of text however it was just for explaining better the idea behind the costume and the association made with Halloween and modern; but I'm not saying that it will be surely chosen, on the contrary considering the trend that we saw so far the chances are slim just for the reason that you expressed in your old post (and the police Ein is even "worse" under this pov). Between the costumes that I saw for Ein, I believe that currently the musketeer one should own the best possibilites to be selected.

I can take mila cracks in good humor, only one that really gets under my skin is people calling her c2 a "dyke" outfit, especially since I associate the style more with country, rock, and indie girls. Out of curiosity what other things do you associate bikinis with tassles with?
