These were the outfits awarded from 3 particular Team NINJA members (the Jury Awards ones): respectively Honoka's outfit was favourited from the Producer Hayashi, La Mariposa's outfit from the Director Shimbori, Tina's outfit from the Art Director Yutaka Saito =)
I think that at least the Tatsunoki Productions DLC is not going to alienate the casual western fans at all: I could be wrong but from what I know their old anime are definitely famous worldwide. Maybe the high popularity in my country could be a peculiar case, but I'm pretty sure that at least in Europe (I can't talk for America) they continue to be immediately recognizable from the old generations of anime fans.
We have a sure date for the release on PS4 and XBOX One of the 1.04 patch + Lovely Summer DLC (the new swimsuit pack) + the "Fireworks" stage: 11th August
About the missing stages on X360 and PS3 , as I stated on DOAW I can't say to not understand their decision, but this is anyway a shame for the fans owning only the old generation. The Swimsuit DLC is anyway guaranteed even on old generation.
About the PC version, there is no mention about it getting the stage in the Famitsu article so I'm pretty sure that "Fireworks" is not supposing to come on PC the day 11th August, but however it could be added later: likely the 1.04 patch is allowing the availabilty on the sage for Last Round, so with another PC patch already planned for the next future (the one that should include the definitive Online gaming update), there is a realistic chance that maybe they could have decided to release a single patch (more later than middle August) that could include both the additions for the Steam version
I sent a direct mail to TN questioning them about it, if they will answer me I will make know you.
PS: @TOBMAST3R I think that no one, for the good or for the bad, can forget the various Halloween entries of @EMPEROR_COW like this one xD

I'm glad that you posted your designs @SoftCabbage, as I said you on DOAW I think that you made a great work with them! I never posted them on FSD just because you are an active member of it too (and so of course had to be your decision to do it or less).

Regarding the designer challenge:
Something that irks me a little, is that the overly cute Honoka Mad Hatter won...just because she was cute apparently...and even though there were at least 2 other Mad Hatter Honokas, that I know of. One of them was so gorgeously perfect and detailed. I unfortunately can't find her anymore...
And then there was this Mad Hatter by Reptiles, which is probably the most perfect combination ever. Guess, what's in his tea, lol? XD
Mad Hatter Honoka getting an award could mean, that finally the wish of millions (at least it feels like it) of fans (including me) will come true, that Marie Rose will be Alice this coming Halloween and Eliot maybe the White Rabbit?

@Tyaren I can't see the images that you posted, however you have always to keep in mind that TN's resources for the outfits are limited. If something is too much detailed, not necessarily this is an incentive for the outfit, overall if the only way to realize it is lower the level of details (see for example "Queen of hearts" Nyotengu).
What I want say is that one of the reasons because Hayashi favourited this mad hatter Honoka's outfit over the others (knowing that his judgement very likely will influence the consequent DLC outfit realized for the character), in addition to his personal tastes could be (I'm not in the head of anyone) even for the chances of an effective better realization of it as final 3d model compared to the others. However I repeat that I don't see neither I remember the others designs, so I'm just speculating.

He chose it, because it was the cutest, not the less detailed/easiest to recreate in-game. Hayashi didn't even try to hide that fact during the award ceremony. It was just cute! (The award doesn't necessarily mean, that it will be in the game anyway.)

Like I said of course it's pretty possible that the in-game realization of it or less could have nothing to do at all with Hayashi's choice; however it's an aspect that should always kept in consideration (first of all from the designers). Until that outfit is planned to appear in a drawing it's a thing, when it's supposed to interact even according to the gameplay mechanics is another matter.

Well it doesn't say they won't come to old platforms, it just says that they will come to the new...
Honestly though, it would probably be better for the game overall if the playerbase was 'encouraged' to shift to the newer platforms, at the moment there's fragmentation which doesn't help anyone at all.
