Because it is such a 180 from Bayman's actual look, and obviously inspired by Chris with its equally douchey "Frat boy" haircut, and even the overall design is virtually identical, only with Bayman having a bigger frame and flak jacket.

And now gelled forward it a moussed up frat boy do, like RE5 chris' hair was.
Whereas before, Bayman's hair was slicked back and clean looking. Considering that Chris Redfield is the only other guy who has the "boyish hairdo" with a military outfit, and Bayman completely transformed from Bayman into a guy HIGHLY RESEMBLING CHRIS REDFIELD, to the point that literally EVERYONE points it out....yeah lol.
I mean, it's not like Bayman not just looks like ANY military guy in any game. He specifically resembles RE5 Chris Redfield now.

Bayman's hair is supposed to look like a Marine's
the simularities and what reminds people of Chris is from the fact that both wear their combat vest with short sleeves,thats it.everything else is basic military get up

Chris hair - That's not bed head, that's carefully and deliberately messed up. It's a style.
And No. Its the fact that he went from being Bayman, to being virtually identical to chris redfield in almost every way.
Do other military characters resemble chris redfield? Of course not, he made that a distinctive look. But default RE5 bayman managed to resemble Chris Redfield, rather than just looking like a generic soldier.
