I think a reveal is possible too this year. I don't think there's going to be a new game release in 2023, but an announcement for a new DOA or NG could very well happen still!

During my first few weeks of playing DOA6, I was initially conflicted as to whether I liked NiCO or Hitomi more, based on initial impressions. Then I played story mode, and NiCO immediately took over from that point on. I sympathise with and relate to NiCO far more than any other video game...

I heard that the Road Rage stage in DOA6 may actually be based off of a real location somewhere in the Midwestern United States. Does anyone know where it might be? It looks like it might even be set somewhere in the Detroit metropolitan area - possibly close to where I live.

Key difference here: when I pay for a $100+ season pass, I know exactly what I'm getting. It's guaranteed. It might be a lot of money, but at the very least, I can tell exactly what content I'm paying for. With gacha, it's random. There is no guarantee. I could spend well over $100 and still...

I don't know if I'd go so far as to call gacha pure evil, but I do think that it's a terrible idea to make DLC acquisitions gacha-based for DOA fighting games. It would piss a lot of people off, myself included, and would likely received very negative press (probably even worse than the DLC...
