Yeah, people give up online way too often.

lol I just fought someone who declined so fast I called it a quickdraw decline lol.
after that set between Daigo and Fuudo, Grandblue looks like Battle Fantasia (also made by arcsys) mixed with KOF, doesn't really appeal to me but fans of traditional 2D fighters with a dash of anime will like it
After 200+ games with the latest patch I'm gonna say that SSA costng meter is not as meta defining as it initially seems. If anything it gives bad players even more opportunities to waste meter and it gives good players something extra to think about should they use it, making it less abuseable

It is actually funny how there are 3 other 3d fighters with perfectly fine sidesteps to steal from yet TN gotta be hipsters and be all different, even when it makes no sense. Was making ssa a meter burn move the best way to balance it? hell no, but is it a game changer? Not really, or who knows, maybe this was planned to be there from the beginning like other stuff they're patching in now, like lobbies....

Or maybe they jumped the gun to balance something ppl were complaining about, (which is unusual for TN), idk But I do think these "omg game is ruined forever time to go play mk11!" hysterics are unwarrented

Sounds about right yeah, though TN didn't really sit down to think about into looking for alternatives. There might be a small light within DOA6U/DOA6++/DOA6LR possibly. It's definitely tolerable, but it just makes them look a bit "too unique" which doesn't really work for an overall actual appeal, especially if you are trying to fit the norm but yet be weird in the norm for multiple bad reasons.
So the overall message of Wataten! is that it's okay to be a geeky social reject with no friends and a fascination with little girls, as long as you're a good looking anime chick
hold the phone, they took away Nyo's head tracking! they randomly patch it in and then one update later *poof*, it's gone! that is so bizarre lol
You ever hear of Core A Gaming? I feel like you would enjoy that channel.
Lesson learned: when playing old dead fighting games with very small player bases, don't win too hard or you might make your opponent quit, and you can't afford that :/

Happened to me with VF5FS so much that I seeked out a community and began playing offline vs for 6 years

Defeat does not exist in this Dojo.
That 45 minute Code Vein gameplay video has me rock hard ;), also color me surprised we actually saw new FF7 remake footage, guess it's real and happening
so is crouch dash canceling the most efficient way to move forward in DOA or are you better of just going into run?

Luckily DOA has the ability to gain immediate crouch the moment a jab whiffs, which is why fuzzy guarding is viable in DOA and doing it up close gives you the room to immediately guard which is different from crouch dashing towards an opponent.
    WAZAAAAA
    WAZAAAAA
If we wanna be extremely anal about the answer... it depends on the character
Turbo rapid step forward is the fastest way with some characters
And characters like Marie Rose & Honoka have the slowest run speeds in the game
    WAZAAAAA
    WAZAAAAA
But in the short run, the fastest (human) way to approach an enemy after, for example, the Jann Lee Dragon Gunner in order to land a guaranteed followup is a crouch dash and not a standing dash. The true fastest way would be some crazy tool-assisted short Rapid Step input into stuff lol.
so Nyo can now cancel into hiten no mai stance from 3p+k, guess that got patched recently because she was incapable of this in DOA6 prior to 1.04

How do you do this? I thought she was only capable of going into Karasu-Tobi from 3P+K by inputting 3P+KPP.

You just press 5p+K during the karasu tobi part, so the input is 3p+K 5p 5p+k
Whoa, Nyo's head actually tracks with her opponents now during her idle animation, as opposed to doa5 when she had no head tracking cept during BT while crouched, that's crazy, I wonder when that got patched in
Frost is mad fun in MK11, till you realize that her hitboxes are broken, and not in the good way :/

jab whiffs on opponents that are recoiling from d1, which doesn't happen with anyone else, alot of her high moves whiff on frozen opponents due to the animation during the frozen status, df2 sometimes hits and sometimes doesn't, either this stuff is an intentional design choice or her hitboxes are on some fuck, and hopefully they get fixed in a future patch
Gold and CP is gonna be real useless once you unlock everything :/

Personally, with the game having 25-26 characters out of which only 4 are unlocked for use in every game mode (plus 2 maybe, does it work like DOA5, 4 characters+2 changing weekly?) plus there are more coming, I'd say that they should be playable in every mode. Adopt the League of Legends formula, have new characters cost a lot while older, less fan-favourite characters should be getting cheaper with time.

Nah, there's no character rotation on DOA6 Core Fighters. Just 4 unlocked out of the base 24 characters (NyoTengu & Phase-4 are still DLC). Oh, I meant that majority of the currency to unlock the characters should be related to online play as an incentive to play DOA6 online, to thus keep lobbies & ranked populated. The challenge though is how to go about it. Playing ranked I think is still fastest to gain currency.

Ohhh, now I see what you mean. Yeah, that'd be a pretty good way to make players play online. There would be plenty in ranked and in lobbies too in that case. It'd be hard to manage it all in a way that people would get interested in it to the point where they'd play the game for a good couple of months though. We can only imagine how it could work out, or how it could be screwed up completely.
