    Rig is one of the few characters in this game I can't stand playing as, literally feels like im just doing stuff :/ that and his jailing is dumb

    Nyo has good, solid tools.
    Generally I prefer fewer-strike, bigger-return characters such as Tengu, Ryu or Leon, but personally, I love Rig (even though I suck with him). Animations are some of the best in all of DOA, and despite his button-happy nature, his decisions can backfire quite prominently if you're not careful, unlike some characters that really autopilot with their safety, delays and tick throws.

    For me Brad Wong, NyoTengu & Helena are 3 characters that I just can't get into playstyle-wise. Helena doesn't feel as satisfying, despite her complexity, because it feels like I'm just doing some BS-crush to start my offense as opposed to a more typical neutral game.

    Cetrion's Fatality where she growls big and steps on the opponent doesn't have me thinking "wow that's brutal", it has me thinking "wow that's someone's fetish"

    I love how Nyotengu has practical pseudo force tech setups out the wazoo and yet every nyo player online is still going for week one ground throw option selects

    And yes Nyo has decent ranged options, but there are match ups where the last thing you want to do is knock opponents away because they either have tools that can blow right through her keep out (hayate, lisa), a running vortex that's too much trouble to deal with (Brad wong, kasumi, phase 4), or they have much better mid range game and can get in on you with ease (kokoro, lei fang, elliot)

    again, those are match ups where keeping them close and forcing them to guess with pseudo force tech 50/50's is much more favorable than knocking them away for guaranteed damage (unless it's into an interactable or a dangerzone for massive damage, but other than that, keep 'em close), cause why play a losing battle at mid to full screen when you don't have to?

    There are quite a few MUs where Nyo doesn't have the spacing/zoning advantage.

    Though if it's true or whatever via Bleach, I wonder if it's some high risk high reward shit like SSJ3 Goku where he gets a massive power/speed buff, but he loses ki tremendously, so something like that I guess?

    Or maybe it was just plain useless in battle that Aizen never wants to use it again, who knows. You should ask the writers.

    well with a Shikai that broken it'd be hard for the writers to come up a Bankai that trumped it, or maybe it was one of those rare cases where his Shikai was just more practical in every way so Aizen looked at his Bankai and was like "hmm, well, technically my Bankai is stronger, but my Shikai works better for what i want, into the bin with you Bankai!", but i guess we'll never know

    Iirc he didn't really entertain the idea of using his Shinigami powers anyhow outside of a few kidos and his shikai. During his fight with Ichigo in the Arrancar saga he only used the black box kido with full incantation. We would've probably seen his Bankai if the manga would've kept going but for known reasons we might never see it anymore...unless if Bleach magically comes back out of nowhere, which is unlikely.

    Finally got around to watching Boruto, and yeah, i get the hate now, continuing Naruto after Shippuden was bad move from a storytelling standpoint, at least the way they're handling it

    The emotional parts are good though, seeing how the original characters and their kids interact is easily the most interesting part of the show, if they could just focus on that make Boruto a of slice of life ninja show it'd be dope, cause there is no action in it that will match the magnitude of the original, especially when you have peace between all the nations and Naruto and Sasuke being op af

    Are you still in the first arc? They introduce characters that pose a threat to Naruto and Sasuke. It just takes a bit to get through the filler crap and get to the actual manga/movie bits.

    3 of 4 dlc characters released were i9/i11 characters, hope TN will diversify with the next DLC character, but would ppl even be interested in playing a deliberately slow character in this game?

    Nah, slow characters are only torture online, offline it's nowhere near as terrible, and besides, DOA6 has good slow characters (Nyo, Tina, Lisa) and i'd like to see another one

    of course if they do make a slow character with no outstanding qualities to make up for it I could completely understand why ppl wouldn't play 'em

    Judging by all the Nyotengu players I've seen, I don't think people will mind. But if its the struggle that the Heavyweights have to go through, than no.

    Having trouble versus Tina? pick a character with an i11 6p and voila, you have access to a button Tina has no answer for and the MU becomes much simpler

    Genjuro who's made it into every top 8 since the game was released? he's fine. Earthquake who can safely mix you from 3/4 screen? balanced. Jubei with his broken ass jumping medium. that's fair, but Kyoshiro? bottom tier character with the strongest backdash? That shit needs to be fixed immediately!

    Dawg, I could write a college thesis on why Im not playing mk11, but the short version is I'm having a real hard time having fun with the game, and why play a fighting game im not enjoying? Plus there are 3 other fighting games I am having fun with so letting mk11 go is an acceptable loss in my eyes. I could come back though, MK games usually take time to hit their stride, but until then, I'm out

    Every1 can play it....as long as you're not in the U.S. for some reason the demo is only available to U.S. players as a digital pre oder bonus, but the rest of the world can just dl it and play for free

    That's...interesting...well, that'll be neat, unfortunately i won't be near my ps4 for like 2 weeks but I'll be checking it out after. Started watching the anime not too long ago and I gotta say that a KLK game made by ArcSys is one of those "dreams come true" scenarios.
