Tbh I'm not too concerned about the nationality thing since I always felt it was fairly obvious to guess what nationality they could be, that and the mystery imo adds to the character designs. I think they intentionally omitted them for that reason since its not too important for the game at the time. I think now they can probably add it tho although again it's not a major problem imo

I couldn't agree more!

Does anyone want to place bets on the next character? My guess is that it will be Nanami. I would be shocked if we got any girls past her or Elise original release dates. I have a sneaking suspicion that we do not see the newer girls of Venus Vacation for a while.

Also, I'm looking to expand my DOA collection once more even though I'm running out of space I have quite a bit of wall in my DOA room. I want some of the DOAXVV pieces that come up on Koei Tecmo Spot. Why can't anyone but Japanese order from here? It's absolute horse shit. So, to get these items you have to wait until they release and then hope someone sells on eBay for a huge, inflated price.

I keep both eyes on the DOA pages anyway despite not being able to order and most of it sells out REALLY fast. Does anyone have tips for catching Venus Vacation merch? Especially autographed by VA; those are like chase pieces right now.

Unfortunately, even if it was obvious, the guy running Dead or Alive Wiki is literally insisting that there needs to be irrefutable proof towards their nationality and not even bother mentioning any hints in the article, no matter how obvious. I believe his exact words on the matter were, and I quote...

"The katakana for her name comes out the same whether you translate from German, English or French. Also, Stollen has become popular in the UK, so none of this is really meaningful. Just stop trying to play detective, unless they make it explicit, where she comes from really doesn't matter."

And this is in relation to Elise. And it's not even one of my edits, either. And quite frankly, how on earth can you even investigate the facts (aka the whole POINT behind a wiki/encyclopedia) if you're not even allowed to play detective?

Last TGS and this TGS I used ZenMarket to get the merch sold through KT Spot. Last year I paid a lot for shipping but everything arrived in top shape. This year I'll use them again and can report how things arrive in this thread.

Autographed signs can only be acquired through Twitter contests. I was lucky enough to get one from Saori Oonishi from a Kokoro fan that won a contest years back.

That admin is correct. Even if Fandom is more lax in what they allow compared to Wikipedia, an encyclopedia should be a collection of verifiable info, not speculation. For that stuff it is better to use a website like TV Tropes.
