Tekken

I think they'll probably tweak the models a little more and that'll be it, they look pretty good to me as of now. They need to revert lili's hair physics back to this though, I don't understand why they glued the strands together...:

The cloth physics could also use a bit more refinement, and they need to use new voice clips instead of recycling old ones and giving the new fighters speaking in battle voices only.

Very unlikely. ;) The only thing I could imagine, depending on what specs the arcade version is running and how optimized the console version is, they will be even slightly downgrading the models for the PS4/Xbone versions.
Well, Tekken was never a graphical showcase. DOA, Soul Calibur and even Virtua Fighter always were graphically more advanced.

Great find! Where did you find it? Are there more for the other characters? o___O

The view up cose proves that the charater model is really just on a PS3 model level. Even the characters in their default costumes in DOA5 are much more carefully modelled. Here polygon edges are visible anywhere. :/ The textures are alright though...

Yeah I zoomed in and the character model isn't that great I kind of just meant in general Leo herself looked great. At least the fingers look good now unlike before where they looked terrible and honestly shocking how bad they looked.

PS4 exclusive? Oh no.....well, I kind of figured as much, several Tekken games were Sony exclusive, so basically this could be a throwback to the good old days of it being on those systems only. I hope this means that they won't have to downscale graphics to fit a plethora of systems.

Who would have thunk:
Tekken 7 is going to be PS4 exclusive claims Gamespot!

Seriously does the xbone even exist anymore?! Everything is exclusive to the ps4 or at least gets priority on the ps4! Thank god I decided to get it even though I had an Xbox 360 last gen.

Like kasumilover69 said though atleast it means they can focus all their attention to it now. I'm still waiting though for them to reveal something more to do with the game. A stage or character or something!

Are you thankful for deciding to get a PS4 even though the PS4.5/PS4K/PS4Neo is coming out later this year? :/ I really hate that fact and before I too was so happy with my PS4 and that I switched from Microsoft to Sony. :(

No I'm actually "okay" with the ps4k, atleast more okay than I was before. The fact that it won't be getting exclusives makes it better to me.

I view it as an option that's there for people that want even better graphics than are already available on the ps4, but those who choose to stay with the ps4 can just go along with no difference.

PS: I still think its stupid to do when you've already got a user base of like 11 million! But that's why they would be stupid to let games be exclusive to the updated one. It seems to be a graphical update and nothing else.

I really hope this will be a good thing. All I want is a solid good looking Tekken game and for them to go back to T6 customization system and not the horrid generica that was TTT2. I really miss the unique clothes and hairstyles that the game had, it was just the half finished graphics that prevent me from actually enjoying it.

Yeah I enjoyed the Tekken 6 customization so much and TTT2's was so bland that I just had no drive to continue. Not to mention I really liked the scenario campaign so that made earning money so much more enjoyable, but in TTT2 it was just fight after fight with no dialogue or story to change it up.

If the game has a scenario campaign and Tekken 6 style customization then I'll be happy!

I hate it! >__<' I know already now that I will hate seeing games like Final Fantasy XV run shitty on my regular PS4 whereas it will run smoothly and with a couple nicer effects on PS4Neo. Also from now on we will in general always have to worry how a game will actually look and run like on the regular PS4 because developers will only show off the prettier PS4k version and the regular PS4 version will be a pig in a poke.

It's actually 37 million by now and will very likely stand around 40 million at the time the PS4Neo releases. It's like their overwhelming success wasn't enough already. :/ They already left their main competitor, the Xbone, in the dust behind them.

As much as I don't want to drop another $399 for a neo ps4...I'm considering getting it, the extra processing power and graphical capability sounds exciting. I wonder how Tekken would look on the neo ps4.

Which is crazy...paying about 800$ to have the best possible PS4 experience in one console generation. *sigh*

Regarding how Tekken7 will look:
Well, it will very likely already run at 1080p and 60fps on the regular PS4, they also won't change the blocky character models. I can imagine better lighting/shadowing and some crisper textures and effects. It will not nearly be a difference as cross generation titles like GTA5 on PS3 and PS4 had. The PS4 is about 16 times more powerful than the PS3 and the PS4Neo is "just" a little over one time more powerful than the PS4.
