They need to hurry with that console release date, I'm just really eager to play it. When it comes out, I probably won't be on FSD for like a week or two, it is my second favorite FG franchise next to DOA.

This summer will probably be the next big announcement, let's hope customization gets a MASSIVE overall, no more pants and shoes being in the same slot and more character exclusive clothes and hairstyles. Oh and Lili's 1P T5 outfit back please.

I actually forgot about Lili's original default outfit because the developers themselves seemed to! I'm guessing your talking about that one with denim jeans? I liked it as well though so I hope they bring it back.

And yeah considering how good Soul Caliburs customization is I'd like Tekken 7's to be on that level. I'm sure it won't have the character creator but just having lots of clothing options would be good, especially after doa5lr's clothing options!

Also dlc customization options would be cool to, I could see them being money though since they aren't essential like characters and stages.

Yeah, and it'd be optional, just like the older tekken tracks in TTT2. If Tekken started adding in some things as DLC, I wouldn't mind because that helps them make more content to keep the game going. The extra character exclusive stuff they have in arcades now is all from the revenue they make from the people who play it, so they can try a sort of cheap dlc module like that for the console ver.

I'm sure they're sure to do something like that after the success of DOA 5's dlc and how much of a bigger life span it added to the game!

I'd even be okay with completely new characters late into the games life if it would keep the game alive for longer!

I hope they'll do that, I don't know if they clarified that this is the last tekken, but they have to go all out with this installment to set it apart from the other fighters.

I've actually been looking at the KOFXIV thread as well though I haven't posted there and I'm interested in the way they could be doing things with dlc characters. I don't really know much about KOF's though.

But considering that TTT2 had like no lifespan to me and received basically no support I really hope Tekken 7 does.

I think the later year and early 2017 is gonna be a great time for fighters, all the best FGs are now slowly popping up! T7 I think should be able to contend with them, it's much easier for newcomers to play and alot of casual players will definitely keep the ball rolling if Namco plays their cards right. I even think Argentus said he'd try the game out, it would seem that Josie has caught his eye. At the moment, only Claudio and Lucky Chloe are the new fighters I'm hyped for...maybe even Katarina, but I know my sister is interested in her, so I may step back on her.

I don't really understand the level of hate Lucky Chloe gets to be honest. Though I have to say I'm more interested in Katarina when it comes to new characters. Josie looks cool as well though and its good the Philippines got a character!

I was going to try getting into the Street Fighter series but after the whole thing with SFV I decided to give it a pass. I'm hoping to follow King Of Fighters though and possibly get that when it comes out.

Same, I'll probably get SFV somewhere down the line, but I'll let the roster and game bloom some more before I make a purchase, KOF I'm definitely getting, Silvie, Kensou, and Yuri look fun to use! :-D As far as the new Tekken fighters are concerned, I don't understand the hate LC got either. I love her, her personality and appearance were just really cute, plus long pigtails are my weakness XD. People should just be open to more character designs, that's what makes a game really diverse and appealing to different kinds of players.

Yeah I thought Lucky Chloe's design was really unique for the series and her fighting style looks fun too. Even though I'll probably be mainly sticking to Lili new characters are always welcome.

And yeah since I've never played KOF every characters new to me. Is Silvie that girl with the crazy eyes on the side of her head? Now thats a unique character design for better or worse! From what I've seen of that game Leona is the one I'm most interested in but is lot of characters are drawing my attention.

I'm hoping before the console release of Tekken. There's one or two more new characters revealed though so that it can be even more fresh.

Soul Calibur 6 just needs to be announced this year and it will a good year for fighters!

Oh yeah, Silvie is that pop idol eyeball type girl, I really love her outrageous design, it's so cute! But yeah, Tekken needs at least 3-4 more new fighters. T6 had I believe 6 new additions, and TTT2 brought back a lot of older and new fighters alike, so they should be able to have a sizeable amount. If SC6 is announced this year, I'll be set as far as fighters go, you can't go wrong with Tekken and SC.

I've forgot her name I think its something like Miharu but I hope she comes back in Tekken 7! I liked that she became more than just Xiao's friend and became a fighter ( and not just a pallet swap like in I think Tekken 3 )

I'd also like Michelle and Sebastian back since my tag team in TTT2 was Lili and Sebastian.

I don't think you 'll see a majority of TTT2 characters since they're either non canon, MIA(Jun) or Just side characters made into moveset clones.

Yeah probably, I'll still hope they get in though. Honestly though I'm mainly hoping for completely new characters since they can bring more diversity with them. The same goes for any future DOA characters as well. I'll prefer brand new instead of a guest character or old character.

T7FR will probably get only 2 more brand new characters. As for the returning characters, the only ones with a high chance of coming back are:
- Lei Wulong
- Lee Chaolan
- Raven

Also during the TTT2 days, Harada said he was against the idea of DLC characters because he prefers his games to be a fully complete for consoles.

Not the last Tekken, but is the last Tekken for the Mishima story arch; I'd like the next Tekken story arch to focus on the Williams sisters. They're old as shit and did have their own game at one point. It would be interesting to see what happened between the two. But that would mean excluding more than half the roster from future Tekken games since some of the characters weren't even born or were too young to compete.

Which is crazy...paying about 800$ to have the best possible PS4 experience in one console generation. *sigh*

FFXV won't look any better on your console regardless, so how does it hurt you now that someone else can choose between an entry level PS4 and a higher end model? I would like to upgrade. I have before. Maybe Capcom will have SFV working by then and they can patch out the dithering to boot. I feel it's a good idea so long as the existing user base isn't negated but it'd be silly to throw away that install base so they won't do it.

As awesome as that would be, I hope the next game will focus on everyone at a near equal pace, The sisters' rivalry has been going on since the very beginning and a lot of fans think that it needs to end once and for all. Plus honestly, we all know Nina is destined to win, Anna is too aggressive and feisty to fight against the calculated and deadly Nina.
