lol was not disappointed with the reactions I see. Anyway no surprise they are doing S3 because despite them being like $90+ each both seasons seem to have a good amount of whale DLers lol.
While I found most of the chosen fan costumes meh at best it was better then a likely scenario of more shitty Christmas costumes.
Also yeah as others said if the new character is having special debut dlc outfits just like Marie Rose, Phase 4, Nyotengu, and Honoka then this boosts the odds for it being female. Also I doubt they are gonna have their potential last dlc character be a male when they heavily use their females for dlc sources. At best Raidou had Honoka come too so if we were getting two more characters again then I can realistically see one of them being male because of precedence at least. They marketed him the worst when he released dlc wise and was completely overshadowed by Honoka. I still remember that one profile pic pack where there were several of Honoka and like one for Raidou.
I honestly have to agree and personally...I think Raidou was a dud that TN ultimately did not care for in the long run in DOA5LR's lifespan. Sure he MAY be important to the story in DOA6 but it's obvious they care more for Honoka than Raidou(as they stated, Raidou was MADE FOR US, Honoka was made for Japan) and sadly...we can't just blame TN for this...
Raidou's reception on returning was pretty mixed and ultimately turned lukewarm while Honoka is still just as mixed, it's mainly just over here in comparison to Japan(and EVEN THAT is up to debate since if we use the US and Europe sales for DOAX3 polls, she was 1st place).
So basically, I think at this point, they rather make females DLC because I believe that personally, THEY don't believe males will sell well at all past being made and put on the disc(it kinda comes back to the Bankotsubo - Nyotengu issue. People are outraged that Nyotengu would take his place...but honestly...is Bankotsubo gonna sell enough to make it a well-deserved profit for his small fanbase vs. making a new female character to take on his legacy and moveset and generate more money in the process?) vs. the females who people will flock to more because of how much easier it is?
Honestly, I wouldn't care if it's male or female...but if it is a female, I do hope it's a Fiend-type or along the lines of Adult Kagura from Senran Kagura Estival.
