DOA5 and Sexualization: Too Much?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't SK gameplay similar to the Dynasty Warriors games? Basically, hack and slash button masher.

If DW only had like 8 enemies at a time and only one combo across all characters. There's minor differences, but the main pull of SK is just the ecchi.

I just remember the demo for the first game was crappy so I never bought the game.

Plus she's creepy. Looks like if Sarah Palin played The Other Mother from Coraline.

It just came across as a poor man's Devil May Cry. Like how they tried a Fantastic Four game after X-Men Legends.


But back on topic. I'm really worried that DOA is trying to turn into a full, SK like ecchi voyeur game. The Japanese marketing certainly seems to be making it look that way


But its kinda like.....when Dead Rising advertises, it makes it look like a wacky free roamy zombieland playground. But if you actually play it, instead its a dead serious, strictly timed game about the horrors of a zombie infestation. NOTHING like what the ads say. Hell you don't even have time to mess with the zombies

While I agree, that Bayonetta 1 and 2 are amazing games, two of the best of it's genre, It's not true at all, that the name giving heroine is the most iconic female video game character. o__O' Not by a looong shot. Maybe after 5 other amazing Bayonetta games in the future.
