Her design reminds me a lot of Serah from Final Fantasy XIII-2. In all honesty, she looks adorable to me. I still need to see a trailer of her fighting style before I reserve to make any judgements about her.

Honestly, if Honoka had a different hairstyle or shorter hair - with the same side ponytail though - we wouldn't have this debate.

I don't think her hair has anything to do with it at all though?? I'm mostly seeing people talk about her face being similar to Marie's..

There seems to be some kind of a mole inside Team Ninja, that they still haven't caught, and probably won't catch this time as well. There have been leaks going on for months already.

Damn i might be blind or obsessed with eyes's rotation angle, but is still don't think they look alike, even with your edit man... haha.
I'll sure go look in her model while doing my usual swap-test to see if my modding tool are working correctly once the game is out.

Depending on her personality she will be an easy top 5 character in the next JPN poll considering where she was placed with no reveal at all. Also still prefer this Honoka as long as she has an interesting fighting style over the Not Kano mimic character rapist.

Same here. Honoka looks like she's more mature in the face and it's a bit more rounder than Marie Rose's.

Yep, but they are only slight. Baa bal (or his friends) however claims, that they look completely different.

I'm pretty sure, Team Ninja did not completely recycle Marie's face. That would be just too lazy and obvious. XD
Maybe Honoka is even supposed to be a doppelgänger of Marie, but we will only learn that later. Maybe as late as DOA6.
There seems to be some kind of mystery going on...with her magic, that glove, she is wearing and that secret, she is going on about...

She's masquerading as a schoolgirl with some "secret power". Obviously, there's more to Honoka than meets the eye, and unfortunately, we probably won't get any information about her story until the next DOA game.
