Characters New Character Discussion

Poor new character! People don't like her and she's not even revealed yet. Though I understand the sentiment believe me.

But I've made a resolution to not freak out and I'm sticking to it. I don't care if she has anorexia nervosa, the largest breasts and buttocks and has an abhorrent gender-restrictive speaking voice ("kawaii"). For at least a whole week after she is revealed I'm going to put a smile on my face and scream "Yaaay!"

Besides, I'm much more interested in her utility. I want to know that she's fun to fight with.

I was excited when I saw that she has pink hair. I doubt I will be disappointed. Haha. Now if her preorder insensitive is Electra or Venus or some sort of pasties, then that will be disappointing. She needs to have appealing and cute costumes before trashy. I like what I have seen. She seems more like the bashful or shy anime stereotype. Marie Rose was already the cocky loli.

The new broad will be officially revealed on my birthday (perhaps unofficially revealed even earlier). Super cool birthday gift, right? Well, not really. I already have Tengu-dou back in the game, so I'll never need anymore characters. Ever (though getting back Bankotsubo himself would be cool, as would be the return of Genra).

However, the possibility of the new chick being voiced by my favorite heroine from CLANNAD, does have me interested and I'm somewhat looking forward to the reveal on Thursday (or sooner).

No real source. It just sounds like the same actress to me and @Kronin mentioned that she's already worked with KT in the past with the recent Dynasty Warrior games. I think he also mentioned that others have also expressed belief that it's the same actress, though I haven't personally seen anyone else say so.

Well, that's nothing new to Japan. lol

But, I just meant instead of blonde, twin-tailed, goth loli #73, it's pink-haired, goth-not-loli with an eyepatch. The amount of female characters with any obvious "imperfections" like that are hella small.

@Forlorn Penguin A twitter user said me for the first time this idea that the new character could be voiced from Nonaka Ai; another user on FSD expressed how in a foreigner forum that he follow (I think chinese) many people were thinking the same; then I saw that even you was of the same opinion. Of course all these things doesn't make an evidence, however maybe it's not a coincidence that people separated between them ended to get the same thought.

Only 5 days left until the reveal of the new female character. I'm going to keep expectations low, but I'm just really excited, since Marie Rose was the only totally new character DOA5 has received thus far.
