It's right, the owners of DoA5U on old gen consoles will get the possibility to upgrade their game to DoA5LR through 2 different upgrades:
- The first will be a free patch that will upgrade the game to Last Round allowing online play with players who have the retail or digital version of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round
- The second will be the purchase (so not free) of a Last Round Set that will allow to get the new exclusive characters and costumes.

Another thing to remember, the crossplay between different generations is unavailable for both the Sony and Microsoft families of console.

If you have the game + dlc you can go into the customization terminal and move the light source around which for some reason makes boobs/Arashi's butt & pecs & stomach jiggle

I don't get why past gen isn't getting the hairstyles. I'm positive the consoles could support them, which they might not be able to do with Crimson. Do they really think someone will see the hairstyles' exclusivity and say "yes, I am going to buy this game for next gen because Kasumi's ponytail migrated to the side"

I can't be the only one that sees a big flaw if their plan is have exclusives will make people get next gen.
If someone owns both gens then they would obviously get it for next gen.
But if someone only has last gen are they really gonna go and buy a £300+ console for the game?!

You mean to tell me that they FINALLY gave me another ninja suit to choose from!? Nice! Hope they make more fighting gear instead of the crazy stuff so that people will have more things to fight in. It's time for the series to be taken serious as the way it should be: A Fighting game. As well as take more approaches to balance the characters. Glad that they listened to mine & a few other's ideas as well.
If they're going to make more costumes, it should be something legit like the Ninja's Pack. Give them all something to legitimate "fight" in. Let's focus on the fighting game & growing the community.

Maybe it has something to do with the customization menu also missing? Some girls have so many hairstyles now, that without customization menu, everything would be kinda confusing and difficult. And the customization menu is probably missing, because loading times would get too big on the old systems. Equipping a character would take ages.
So $430 + tax for two stages, two characters, more particles and ponytails...

The fact that DOA5U is geting a free update to DOA5LR only tells me that they didn't do shit to the netcode (What a surprise..) and that i avoid that version like the plague. Won't be surprised that the Next-gen versions are also shitty, which is why im getting the f2p version first.
