If i remember correctly TN liked Kronin's tweet when he tweeted my Alpha design for them. They could easily just swap Momiji's mummy costume for Alpha and change color skin color = boom a new costume for Alpha.

because of the transparency of her body i dont think they can easily change her without swapping the whole model out. this might be why she got only got a new outfit when ultimate came out. though if that theory is correct she should also get something new with last round.

I'm not even that mad that it's a bad costume (Ive bought worse costumes of hers). It just feels like they treat Mila like a throw-away sometimes.

Mila got a new outfit with a visor and sweater.
Lisa got a nurse costume borrow from Rachel.

Halloween (11/15/13)
Mila got a pumpkin... thing?
Lisa got a witch (okay, Lisa wins this one).

Nurse costumes (4/22/14)
Mila got a nurse outfit unique to her and not shared by another character.
Lisa got nothing.

Overalls (6/17/14)
Mila got some overalls with a hat.
Lisa got nothing.

Bath and Bedtime (7/29/14)
Mila got an "after sex" button-up shirt.
Lisa got nothing.

Maid costumes (8/19/14)
Mila got an orange maid outfit
Lisa got nothing

Vegas Bunny Set (9/23/14)
Mila got a Vegas Bunny outfit

You could say the same for Christie.
Edit: Also I really don't consider those generic cheesecake costumes a get. They're so lazy that I don't understand how Christie (especially with her popularity) and Lisa didn't get those either.

It's not a problem to run out of ideas, when you release only sexy outfits for the most popular girls you are following a precise marketing direction.

Do you mean the Zombie Alpha? Actually TN shared my post on Facebook asking to the fans what they thought about a such idea. Sadly maybe the requests for it weren't considered enough...

I believe that the DLC treatment should be considered an evidence that Lisa, Christie and Rachel are the DoA female characters less popular in Japan.

They swear up and down there isn't a bias though. Oh well. I've spent more energy being upset about stupid costumes than I wanted to. I hope people enjoy them for their characters at least.

TN don't release outfits for the male charas because people are more interested in the female cast; in the same way, with the addition of 3 new gals in the last times, IMO was made a selection even for the girls discarding the charas giving less profits (I suppose that there are taxes or similar expenses to pay for each single DLC put on the market...).

It's not a question of bias, just simple marketing decisions dictated by Tecmo, even so we are trying to convince them to reach a middle way...

The thing that really surprises me is how even a popular character as Ryu don't get DLC outfits: evidently the community of NG is indipendent from the one of DoA (but in the end the same happens even in the West).

Can someone do me a huge favor?

Can someone Photoshop Mil as head with no headgear onto a pic of her pumpkin outfit? Should be easy just two pics of the same stage and win pose, then crop out pumpkinhead and replace it with hatless mila head. (C6 or a bikini would be best bet).

I want to illustrate how that outfit COULD have been okay if you could just toggle off the hat.

I've got an idea that might be fun for the contest winners & people that want to play vs. them to celebrate their costumes.
How about a FSD Halloween winner lobby? X-Box & PS3 so everyone can play. It's very rare I play anyone from here.
I see people in the Good Game topic do, though. Maybe there's an ongoing FSD lobby.

in the vid below i noticed that Leon's tail actually stays up straight while animating and wagging around while brads just hangs there, not sure if its intentional but its reminiscent of how dogs act with aggressive hyper dogs wagging their tail constantly compared to a lazy docile one who don't move their tail at all which actually fits both their personalities/playstyle
