You speak the truth again. I better learn to draw myself next time to convey my own ideas and to reap the benefits lol. I could have drawn it myself if I had courage in my ability to present my ideas clearly, but because i didn't I asked my sister for help.
That is, if I want to participate next time. I mean, we've yet to see what TN does with the entries so far :\.

I was a bit hesitant to enter myself, but I thought these kind of contests don't happen often despite it taking place so soon after the first contest lol.
Maybe another factor was the voting system? People may have been unsure about how voting would happen. Yes TN said Facebook won't be used again, but maybe people thought it would still be a popularity contest?
Lol no. XD It took me 25 min to make (majority of the time was spent on his hair and trying to transfer the phone pic to my PC) and then I hit submit. I was getting worried though whenever I didn't see any Eliot entries and wished I put more effort into it but now that I see all the good ones he has I'm relieved.
I'm just one of those ppl that like to be in contests for the sake of being in them. Ha ha
Wow, no. Seriously, I voted for that. I loved it, and I didn't even knew you made it (ehm, sorry about that, please forgive me!). Sure the art wasn't great (horrible), but the idea was solid. You shouldn't discredit it even if it only took you 25 min. A good idea is worth more than 100 bad ones.

I have mixed feelings about these contests personally.. but I am glad I do them, if it weren't for these contests, I wouldn't be drawing again, I wouldn't have learned how to drawn in a digital form, and I never would have opened my own DA page. So I guess it's been a good thing even if I don't win any prizes or get my design in the game (no matter how much I want one of my designs in the game (MR from this and Lisa from the last)).
Despite this, my only dislikes from these have been we haven't seen any of the costumes in the game (and I know I want that Eliot in the kilt costume!). My other dislike has been the community. Less this time than the last. Last time some girl didn't like my Lisa costume and I found out she had been apart of helping make the leading one win. I believe it may have been her friends. Either way, she kept commenting on the entry saying it didn't fit her personality and wasn't good for her and trashed it repetitively. She stalked it. But I have been playing Lisa since she was on DOA4 just like I have been playing Marie Rose since her release. I know what the personal it of the character is. I think this is mostly why people didn't submit this time. These two reasons. No one wants to work on things for weeks, asking for critiques, making your design to impress people, just to enter it and people bash is like it was just chewed gum. Even people who look like their entry tool five minutes, probably spent way more time on their entry than you think. They probably just have less experience in art, but still have the passion and the dream for their favorite characters and video games. Just some things to consider.

On a different note, I love all these superhero costumes.
I can just imagine those two tag team green lantern superheros of Jann and Lei going at it while reaper P4 and devil spantex Nyutengu playing the evils. Then we have Mecha Mila and Superhero Tina brawling it out with Aquaman Bayman and Galaxtic superhero Leon played the opposing party, haha.
Another interesting matchup would of course be playing the ultimate evil of Gen Fu Pig and his apprentice Iron Fist (who later turned out to have been deceived by Gen Fu Bear Pig, guided on the right path by Super Hitomi-chan).
Another hilarious combo would be Cyber Busa and fury Rachel, playing Hawkman Busa and Black Widow Hitomi (they are evil of course), where Mafia Hitomi turns out to be the great villain behind it all, which is Super Hitomi-chan's evil sister!
Ok, I need to stop now, or this series would turn into Injustice real fast!

Personally, I just sent my entry because I wanted to participe for once in these kind of contest, so as the detail of being "reconigzed" in some way (because too many people would take a look at my design) but after realizing about the favoritism which already exist in the DOA community, i guess I won't participate again.
I've seen such quite good and interesting ideas but sadly, the most of them are not being voted because it's not visual-appealing (since their drawing isn't too skilled) and I feel I'm within this situation.

By the way remember Bogetsu that TN can decide to reward even outfits with few votes (as the one of Rawbietussin last time), and that the design made DLC has nothing to do with the winners of the contest. Under these matters, your design has the same chances of all the other ones

I wish they would make the first batch of DLC costumes already so we can get a better understanding of what will make it into the game. I'm trying to be patient about it though, because I know these outfits take a lot of effort to make. Well, I think that we can be sure that they outfits of the first contest will be released before the ones for the second; and that the outfits from the second will be released before Halloween. So I'm pretty sure that very soon we will get the outfits of the first contest =)

Nice job to those here who entered, and thanks for the feedback on improving my entry before submission. I like Chef Bass, Arabian Marie, Rigmaster Rachel, Orange Suit Zack and a number of others. And GenFu- he must've been born in the year of the pig. XD Looking forward to the results.

THIS is the costume for Marie Rose that I wanted to vote for, but it still isn't there for some reason. I really liked this one the most in the Marie Rose section (plus, it's amazing to see art of things that are NOT lolita dress for once).These are the ones that I know, but it's possible that more could be missing:

Sadly not, I saw that outfit immediately when it was released, and this happened days ago the end of the contest. I asked to the author to make notice its missing to TN (as he/she did) and I made the same me too.
Today I saw that TN posted another post of sorry for the entries still missing, not sure if this mean that they will fix it or less...
