Ok...ok I have an issue how do trash asssss players get up in rank? Literally met an Alpha player who just mashes P at different intervals. I-is that your legitimate mix up? Hitting P like 4xs instead of 6? I wish I could record this but the jerk ass is avoiding moi because I abused him thoroughly. All I did was 66PPP (Tina) as like a meaty. And as mashers tend to do keep getting hit by it.

Even for Ayane, that makes no sense whatsoever.

IMO Ayane was originally intended to have killed her mother as an assassination job that ninjas are known to do. But then for DOA3 they were like: "That's stupid and makes no sense," so they retconned it and made Christie the killer, instead.

BTW, what makes less sense than Ayane not denying killing Helena's mother is Helena accusing her of it in the first place for absolutely no good reason at all. Maybe Ayane was just so surprised at how stupid Helena was being that it sent her into full brainfart mode as well.

I know I'm only c+ at best but I rank around a simply because....I played ranked a lot. Seriously lose a hundred times to D's, win once to a ruby, rinse repeat, a rank.

I just want to sit in their room and watch them legitimize such a braindead strategy. I fell for it for 1 round then tried to see if he even counters. Nope he was C- and then it said B how? Why?

I had the feeling Ayane was supposed to have done something like that to begin with, hell, I had the feeling she was pretty much going to become the villain if DOA3 didn't just smash that into pieces.

DOA3 actually went a good place with her character, imo. Still dark, but not just for the sake of being "bad" or "edgy." Story-wise, DOA3 was her best game (not counting the stupid Dimensions revision). It was actually that game that made me like the character.

I really wanted to like her in DOA5. TN just had other plans.

At least she didn't get the Helena treatment, though. ahboaklgfjglag

My theory is that Ayane has started to learn to trust people again. She knows that there are certain tasks that she can't handle on her own (even though NG would leave you to believe otherwise) and that family and clan are important to her life. Or something. Idk...

They just kinda sapped all her pizzaz and flare out. In DOA2 she was a bitch, but she was a hilarious bitch. It was like she was walking around with a big "fuck you" sign at all times. Lots of energy.

In DOA5 she's just kinda flat and bitchy. Hardly moves outside of gameplay, and her demeanor appears so melancholic. She never says anything interesting anymore. She just kinda vaguely references that she's in a serious mood and doesn't want there to be joy in the air. Whereas before in DOA2, she seemed to delight in pushing people's buttons.

I like Helena just decided to pull this French accent out of nowhere for the English dub in DOAD and DOA5. When I first heard her spoke, I was like...when did she become French?

Okay, let me explain since I sense the sarcasm. When DOA2 Hardcore got an English dub, Helena's voice actor at the time didn't have a FRENCH ACCENT at all. Then DOA3 and 4 only had an English sub, but kept Japanese voices. Then all of a sudden, I return to DOA with 5 and heard Helena for the first time speaking with a heavy French accent. It had me confused at first, especially since DOA2H was the last DOA I played since the series when Xbox exclusive for a couple of games and only had English subs with Japanese VAs.

Not to mention Kasumi sounded 10, Bass had an old man voice and Ein spoke in innuendos.
