I agree with just about all of this. I hate Mila's cutesy and or half naked outfits because to me Mila is the girl next door type girl who isn't provocative in anyway and just so happens to be pretty. The only cutesy outfit i'll admit i like is her trench coat casual wear. But when they give her outfits like that crap string bikini i just sigh because they have girls like Tina to have provocative outfits.

In regards to Momiji, I have not played Ninja Gaiden yet so i have no clue how she acts in that.
But i'll say that i'am also bored with the cutesy "oh gee i won tee hee" type girls.

C1 - appropriate
C2 appropriate
C3 should have just been part of c6 with the hoodie toggle able
C4 just a pallete swap of c1, unneeded
C5 should a been part of c2 with hat, button up and apron as toggles
C6, with towel removes is my main outfit for her, and the inspiration for my costume designs.
C7 looks great in character select because you can't see the inappropriate daisy dukes and can't take of visor both of which destroy this outfit
C8 appropriate
C9. Hitomi barmaid outfit. Totally inappropriate and unnecessary
C10 top 5 though I wish that a) it was a tank top like bass instead of the inappropriate leather corset, and b, you could wear the bandana and shade
C11-12, totally inappropriate though the black bunny outfit would have been passable at least if it were a one piece instead of a bikini
C13-16 nothing suits her just generic copy paste outfits
C17 the one swimsuit I'm okay with, because it looks sporty enough for her. I still never use it though
C18 she should a gotten a full jumpsuit like Lisa instead of the shorty shorts. I do like the top though.
C19 jpop outfit but at least its bee themed. Never use it
C20 the only school girl outfit tailored to the girl so I give credit there. I actually sometimes use these even though its inappropriate because I like the rough and tumble look to it
C21. If I could remove the visor this could have become my main outfit over c6. But I really hate that visor.
C22 mixes feelings but overall inappropriate. She does rock the top and gloves though.
C23 cute and pretty as hell but not mila in any way. Would suit hitomi far better. Inappropriate
C24. Infuriatingly inappropriate. Awesome jacket but string bikini ruins it. Wish this jacket was on her c6. Or that this was a sporty one piece swimsuit instead of a Tina or Lisa stripperstring bikini.
C25. I actually kinda like this one. Thematically inappropriate but its nice to see her wearing a tshirt, and the bottoms look better on her than say, shorty shorts or daisy dukes. Plus shoes.
C26 generic copy paste. Inappropriate.
C27. If she had a T-shirt or tank top on under this I would like it. As is, very hot in a redneck way but gonna hafta still say inappropriate. Would like it a lot more if it wasn't cut off into daisy dukes.

This is why I tend to prefer most of the non-Asian girls that is around Lisa/Helena's age and above. At most, the only ones who are neutral to me among the Asian girls personality-wise are just Kasumi and Ayane. The rest are just... Ugh. Sugar-puking kittens... :/



Her jailbaity KO scream is aggravatingly earsplitting enough to get her classified with them sadly.

Ayane definetly got hit the hardest when it come to personality shifts imo. While I somewhat agree that her being a cold bitch can be boring, it's pretty damn clear why, considering her background.

Doa 3 also gave her character more depth, and was a huge leap in character development and her growing more mature as a result. This is shown in DoA 4 best, when she's shown seemingly forgetting at least partially her grudge towards Kasumi, and stopping her getting herself killed. She grew more soft towards as the series progressed, while still maintaining her ruthlesness and intelligence as shown in the first NG games. She was one of the most developed female characters in the series at that point, and the reason why she still maintains one of the top spots in my favorite DoA female list.

Then Dimensions came, and stripped pretty much everything, her Doa3 ending retconned for no fucking reason, and totally out of character suicide attempts etc etc, with the final coffin appearing in Doa5.
She's pretty much reduced to tsundere status at this point, while being a glorified bodyguard of Hayate.

As much flack as the DoA story gets, I think the first games handled the story pretty damn well, considering the minimalist approach they did it. At least when it came to personalities, and motives of the characters.

I think they just wanted her to be kind and friendly but they thought that without doing cute faces and poses she would seem sarcastic (is this sentence even grammatically correct ) like Christie Monteiro because she says to her opponents things like ''Hey, did you hurt yourself?'' or ''Go easy on me!'' but is she nice for them or anything? No, she's just making fun of them. And this is something TN didn't want for Momiji.

DOA has some really good actors BTW, like Rig, Koko, Christie, probably also Marie... what if TN released Phase 4 now because DOA5 story never happened, it was just a movie?

You do know before the whole mess that was DOAD & DOA5, she kinda was "a stone cold bitch that would kill people", right? While she wasn't exactly "stone cold", she's still a cold person. If you weren't Kasumi, Hayate, or Ryu, you were just about non-existent to her, if you got in her way you got your ass handed to you. Also, she's perfectly capable of killing people without hesitation and "just because". Ninja Gaiden is a perfect example. It just feels weird seeing her being so friendly with people since given her back story, any type of relationship shouldn't come to her that easily.

Uh-huh, so you're saying that Ayane playing Chicken with Helena's accusation of her killing her mom is in character!? Ayane was LITERALLY a few steps away from becoming Raidou herself.

I can understand believing she should stay stone cold, but there's a difference between that and Juri Han.

She doesn't seem all that Tsun as you state she is, it's more like finally letting go of her grudge and not being so uptight. She is still pretty damn callous towards people, but no longer in the "I'm gonna kill you because" and "Maybe I did kill your moms, maybe I didn't" type of way.

It makes sense why she hold on to her only comrades she has, but DOA5 and Dimensions is actually more THROWING A BONE to someone who can blow up skyscrapers by causing her to mellow out. The suicide scene maybe too much(which again, may actually not be considering her life and all), but I don't really see her being ruined, just finally maturing from grade SSS Jackass to Grade A braggart

- Ping (19) and Pong (19) are Jann Lee's (36) and Lei Fang's (35) twins, mastering both JKD and Tai Chi. Pong has Eliot's personality, and Ping is a tsundere.
- Adolfa (17) is Hayate's (39) and Hitomi's (34) girl, she has Ein's fighting style.
- Rubio (20) is Governor Tina's (38) and Mila's (35) adopted boy, he masters wrestling. He's trying to find a cure for his grandfather Bass' diabete
- Groar (23) is Bayman's (dead) and Marie-Rose's (missing) adopted teddy bear, using Systema and Sambo. He's trying to find his mother and kill Rig.
- Mei Lin (16) is Gen Fu's granddaughter, mastering Wing Chun. She's in love with Eliot.
- Alpha 548 is Kasumi's sixth clone (combination of Phase 4 and Alpha 152) and is trying to destroy the world... again.

I would personally hate it, but I wanted to imagine the atrocity TN could come up like SC5. I'm too attached to the actual cast.
