This time I created a design for Marie Rose inspired to the "Little Match Girl": not a dark theme (but the story is pretty depressing even if not missing of a peculiar happy ending), and not too much original (I just got inspirations from different rapresentations of the character), but seemed to me a nice idea for her.

Words aren't enough to thank Anthony Byrraux for his fundamental help in the coloring of the design! It has an obvious big impact on the final outcome.

EDIT: I didn't abandoned Ein, I'm trying to create a second design for him too (of course not posting it as a property of mine) ;)

Ugh I'm stuck with a bit of writers block with the rest of my design. I have overall concept but its the small details I'm drawing a blank on.

Which is funny because I'm having no problems coming up with outfits for
Phase four
Eliot
Leon
Rachel

Or the other three outfits I'm designing for Mila.


Just...the one I'm actually planning on using I'm having trouble fine tuning lol. Well this is why not a fashion designer

You surfe don't like to do things the easy way ;)
Well no reason to panic you still have more than a weeks to figure things out :)
what kind of theme were you thinking of for each character?

The devil theme was already used in the past contest but IMO this is a variant more simple and classic, more fitting Christe's style (more close to Ein's outfit than Kokoro's or Helena's succubus one). I think that could make a nice tag pair with Rig's devil outfit posted some pages ago.

Still can't decide what I want to draw. What would you guys think about a Bankotsubo C1 "inspired" costume for Nyotengu? The rules say it has to be "your own creation", but it would of course be altered considerably, so that it merely resembled it.

Or would that probably not fly?

Perhaps in the spirit of Halloween, you could instead make it inspired by his C2 with all the spikes protruding from his body.

I'd love it if she got something wicked like that.

A C1 inspired outfit would be cool too though and I hope they actually do give her his old C1 eventually.

The question is: you will make Nyotengu a bearded (tengu) woman? XD
But IMO if well realized could end to be a great idea, try to realize it ;)

(PS: personally I think that Banktosubo's DOA2 C2 would be a better choice for Halloween like siad by Forlorn, anyway I know that his C1 is of course more iconic).

Are there any sites with galleries of the submitted designs so far, like deadoralive.fr ?

I know many are submitting my e-mail this time, so it will be much harder, but there doesn't seem to be as many entries as last time.

@Blash last time there was a sudden onslaught of designs in the final day or two. I'd expect the same this time. Also, people will be emailing them. I've done mine and it's emailed. I'll show it off on here closer to the date. Keeping it all hush hush for now :p

My friend is doing that with her Ayane costume. Halfway because it's wild and crazy and halfway because she wants to see if she likes anything better. She will have me put it up here in a few days for her. It's kinda cool and super original. Haha
