7P+K is now 236P+K, 1P's stun on CH has been shortened to 19F, anything that ends in 4KP does less damage, some hitbox modifications that are impossible to perceive through writing, and 33T now does slightly more damage...at the cost of becoming a 17F throw. Okay, really. My question is, did anyone get real, notable buffs? Rachel's 2K is now neutral on NH, but that's seriously all I can find.

anyone care to translate some of bass' changes?
His is very confusing. I'll give you what Google says about it. As a Bass player, you'll have to interpet it, as it sounds weird as hell to me.

236P + K. Changed to "44P + K" command of
3_P + K changed to "Standing middle 4P + K" command
2K Changed from -7 to 0F stiffness difference of normal hit
"Back T (BT T?) Changed from +21 to +15 F
Standing middle 4P + K changed from 30 to 32 damage: The change in GB (0) GB from (-5) a rigid guard difference.
Standing middle 4P + KP changed from 33 to 44F generation:
4P + K, Standing middle 4P + KP
back 4P + K change to 28 +15 to 38 +15 damage:

thanks guys, pity to hear that BT throw got nerfed even more. hmm. I cant really understand those notes atm either! lol Weird they would change the input for qcf P+K, i guess it is so you can backdash into it? /shrug

Actually, I think I got it backwards, and it says that the input for her power launcher has changed from 236P+K to 7P+K. That's still not correct though, so...I have no idea. Perhaps they changed the input in the arcade version, and they're changing it again?

Rachel got some nerfs, but a few buffs as well. Mostly in regard to block frames. Also something about her advantage from OH. Stomp seems to be unchanged.

Unless "something about her advantage from OH" means it got worse.

People have never looked so DLC-hungry with 5U.

We can be glad, they were still providing us with DLC for so long. As Ultimate is basically just an update, you have to count from September 12th (DOA 5 release) until now. That's a huuuge time span! Not many other games provide you with DLC that long. I was already wondering, when everything comes to a halt. Seems like now...but Team Ninja confirmed, there are still some packs to come...

Thanks for the Rachel update. I really wished they would basically revert all the nerfs from the previous patch sans the stomp, since it was the only thing that actually needed fixing... Alas. Looking forward to playing it.

Can anyone shed some light into what happened to Tina? (if anything at all).

I know that DoA5U is an update, but considering all the additions included in it in comparison with DoA5 (additions for all the aspects of the game, from the characters to the features), I can't see it not like a new game.

For this reason I think that TN will treat it exactly like DoA5, continuing to release patches/DLC until around June of this year (of course this doesn't mean necessarilty a new DLC pack every 2 weeks).
