They need to give Leon an actual role in the story again. He hasn't been apart of the canon since DOA3 and even until then all his story related stuff was him moping about Lauren while getting into random fights. build up on his rivalry with Bayman and have them actually interact through cutscenes and not just Bayman running his mouth in one special intro/outro while Leon doesn't acknowledge him at all. Same goes with him and Zack , they had one scene together in DOA2 that explains jackshit and have tons of tag related interactions but TN couldn't be bothered with expanding on it. Lastly, hook him up with Rachel, upgrading to a hotter chick with a night of hot steamy rough banging will help him finally get over Lauren.

To Tag Topic : In my opinion I agree with you but I would find it better If all spefic Tag Team would get 2 Intro , 2 Tag Thorws and 2 Win Poses. Lei Fang and Pai have for example 2 Win Pose and Tina and Bass 2 Tag Throws :O !
I think in DOA2 Hardcore you could use 2 Tag Throwes with different inputs of course

to Story topic: The Story of DOA is very how I should say...... its "bad" or "very boring" The new DOA 5 Story feature is good but it should focus more of the personality and the story from the characters. Story of DOA is important but I would prefer to learn more of the story from the characters too. Did you ask yourself to learn more about your main character ? I did. I am always asking for myself how Ryu learned Ayane Kasumi and Hayate what was the back story. The childhood from them. Why has Christie so a bad personality ?. Another example the first meet between christie and rig . Such things are interesting me.

Leon hooking up with another chick would ruin his vibe. I like him being in love with a dead woman because that's depressing and so it makes him pissed off. Leon's persona is based on the idea that he doesn't give a fuck about anything on this Earth, and so he's a perpetual asshole. Give him some sloppy romance and he has something he cares about, which is lame.

So no, keep Leon in love with Lauren and being an asshole. I do like the idea of playing up his rivalry with Bayman, though. But not Zack. Whatever they were trying to do there was dumb. There's no reason Leon should know Zack.

The Bayman thing should definitely be fleshed out, but I think that the Zack thing should too. I agree that whatever they were trying there was probably dumb, but it's just weird to have that there in the back of everyone's mind and just pretend it never happened.

They don't have to keep it going on further, but getting an explanation for it would be nice.

The Zack/Leon thing is TN lazily following the old trope of pairing the young cocky slick black guy with the old grumpy hardass white guy or vice-versa that many buddy cop movies/TV shows do and i actually would like TN to expand on it. no one takes DOA's story seriously so they should just go all out on it with hilarous hi-jinks like Zack trying to get Leon laid or both of them smoking a bowl together tweaking while this song plays in the background

I'm actually fine with the idea of Rachel & Leon, but like people are stating it would probably kill his characters current vibe, the vibe people like about him. However, I think a bit of flirting never hurt anybody... and would be at least something playful about Leon rather than the same thing on repeat.

Tina had never associated with Helena all throughout the whole 5 tournaments. No story mode interactions, tag throws, intros or winposes. They were never shown close to each other in DOAX spinoffs. Curious how they met though. It could be through a concert between the rockstar and the opera diva or maybe through Tina planning to be State Governor.

The big question is how she ended up with Helena. These girls barely had interactions together in both canon story or spinoffs. Maybe Helena warned Tina (when she became the new State Governor) about the Phase 4 Alphas going into mass production and wants her to stop Donovan's plans.

I got a better idea...

Give Leon some backstory outside of the whole thing with Lauren, like how he and Bayman became rivals in the first place... then tie it into a favor he has to do for Bayman so he can serve a purpose in the actual dad-gummed story. Throw in some military knowledge with a hint of R. Lee Ermey, and you got a perpetual asshole with a decent script.
