I just watched the DOA movie and I hope for DOA6 they'll add a girl just like Christie in the movie. The Christie in the games is a badass cold hearted assasin, but the Christie in the movie was a badass and intelligent thief who planned on stealing money from the tournament. Hope TN would consider that as an Idea

Yeah I remember the movie, And I think a sexy thief would go great in DOA.

I got a better idea. Let's make Holly Valance another cameo along with Al Gore.

And this time, no random guy named Max. For the love of everything sacred about DOA, PLEASE NO RANDOM GUY NAMED MAX.

That movie wasn't bad at all, that was the best movie based on a fighting game ever
:ayane: <- just look at her face.. her.. wig.
:kasumi: <- bipolar mess if the movie personality comes in
:hitomi: <- was a man. hitomi is a man.
I wouldn't care of they tried to make 'him' look like hitomi but the actor looks like jann lee

anyway- back onto track of DOA5U?

- Hitomi's sitdown stun from the bikini video just doesn't look right..
- VF bounce rumors.. well hello!

I've already decided to drop Hitomi but I might use her every now and again depending on her changes. If that new SDS is useful (Guarantees anything that's not lol6P) then that's pretty huge for her. Raansu should be happy.

As much as I want to lean toward bias, I have to be honest. Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie is the best one by far, and this is coming from a nice guy who isn't necessarily a fan of the franchise. It stays true to the source material without compromise, and is good enough to be generally accepted as canon.

DOA tries to be entertaining, but the only good I really got out of it in the long run was that Kevin Nash wasn't a terrible Bass Armstrong, Leon played a significantly better role here besides proving to a dead woman he's the strongest man in the world, Christie and Tina had the same first name variants, and Holly Valance can do something other than sing. But there was so much wrong with this movie I don't even know where to start:

1) Hayabusa was womanized. Hayabusa. Was Friggin'. Womanized.
2) The Mugen Tenshin were generally toothless when Kasumi decided to leave the village. Only Ayane seemed to show any kind of resistance.
3) Bayman went the way of Bane in the movie "Batman and Robin". God help you if you still remember how that turned out...
4) Lei Fang, Gen Fu, Hitomi, and Eliot, Brad Wong, and Jann Lee were virtually non-existent pushovers. Interestingly, Kokoro doesn't exist at all.
5) Dennis Rodman did not play Zack.
6) Max.
7) Weatherby.
8) Eric Roberts as Victor Donovan... Really? Really?!?
9) Team Ninja was not closely involved with the project... at all.
10) When the actual fuck did Tina and Helena learn to use swords?

And that's just off the top of my head. I hate to be brutally honest here, but... I want better for my movie adaptations. For a drinking game movie though, it ain't half-bad.

I've never watched a decent fighting game-based movie but this was the only one that came close (and only b/c I like CGI).

The movie was...entertaining. They screwed up a lot of characters, but I think that Tina, Bass, Zack, and Christie were fairly well done.

The sword thing at the end was pretty WTF, though...

Personally I think the Hitman movie is the shittiest videogame movie ever made.
(I'll exclude the Uwe Boll crap, since he really isn't even trying). DoA comes really fricking close though. The movie is a mess.

But ehm... moving on...
