Anyways, I thought maybe all the VF-fans or on the fencers here might enjoy a look at this:

The 14th Beat Tribe Cup, essentially the biggest VF tournament in Japan-You'll get to see some awesome high-level Japanese gameplay-Enjoy! ;)

If I knew this were going on, I would have attended the stream. At least I have something to watch while I eat XD

On an unrelated note, sorry for skipping out on the invitations the other night. I'm trying to get my PS1 single player experience in. I'll be back on DoA and VF5 by the end of the week since ?I'm close to beating this thing.... I think.

For those that missed it or who just want to see, here's the videos from Evenpit's FT10 with me along with pre-fight interviews. It's an eileen mirror set so you have a ton of eileen tech in here. I pretty much showed off all of the Eileen tech I could pull off against Evenpit. Check out the post fight talking to hear a lot about how to play VF and philosophy of the game and improvement. I also lay down what I think are some of eileen top moves and setups that are my favs.

I purchased VF5: Final Showdown not too long ago. The legends of online play being ruthless are true. I was getting destroyed. I use Jacky, Vanessa, sometimes Lion and picking up Shun Di. It's funny because I used to use Aoi a lot in VF4, but I don't really touch her in this game. I'm not patient enough to remember all her reversals.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome-back to VF! :)

Hmm....Generally, you may want to focus on one character to begin with..Given that there is so much to learning even one character entirely...Not to mention, trying to get comfortable with all of the system mechanics as well.

That said, you seem to have prior experience with Aoi and may be able to be somewhat comfortable with her starting out...As far as what you were saying about her reversals, that's just a matter of time and getting used to the game's speed/characters' moves...Seriously, this game is fast!

After a while, you'll have enough experience and your reactions will be at the point where you'll know when to easily counter attacks with her reversals on the fly without having to break your flow too much.

At any rate, if you like her-stick with her!

So it just came to my attention that there's a special stage you fight Dural in the Arcade version's Knockout Trial, which for some reason was never included as a selectable stage in the international console port. According to one of the comments in that video, the only way to play this stage is to reach her in the 50th License Challenge.

I'm not gonna go back to DoA5U just yet, for I decided to take up this challenge and fight my way through ALL the licenses >: O I stopped at 12 or something since that's all I needed to get one of the trophies. Nor would I think there would be something to get out of ranking up my license. A lot of hilarity ensues in this mode with all its special rules and other random nonsense XD However, I'm stuck at License Challenge 29 (Beat Shun 3 times with his Drink Counter at 0). Screw this challenge with a rusty metal pipe. Seriously .V.

Unsurprisingly there's absolutely no footage of the 50th License Challenge uploaded. It would be wonderful if someone with the proper recording materials brave this long trial with me and record their battle with Dural in the final challenge! .............I'm looking at YOU, @DestructionBomb and @o_YUE_o :3
